Associate Minister Atyesha “Shawn” Harris was born and raised in the DC metropolitan area. She has three beautiful children and one daughter in law. She loves taking long walks, singing to old school music and family time. She loves to put a smile on people faces by making them laugh. She has been attending New Balm Ministries since her mid 20’s. She started off working on the usher board and she still active in that role. Then she was elevated to a Missionary to now an Associate Minister. Needless to say she loves the lord and is most grateful for God calling her into a ministry that promotes growth and experience. She aspires to continue to grow in the Lord and becoming the woman that God is chosen her to be.
Missionary Angela Thomas is a native of Baltimore Maryland and has been working as a healthcare professional for over 15 years. Missionary Thomas studied Biology at Notre Dame of Maryland University. Missionary Thomas was trained to serve in ministry under Apostle Ronald Shelley and Overseer Margaret Shelley (Holy Temple-West). It was there that Missionary Thomas was taught that Holiness is still a requirement for the Body of Christ.Missionary Thomas would later join New Bethel Abundant Life Ministries where she passionately works in ministry alongside her husband Elder James Thomas III & their son James Thomas “AJ”. Missionary Thomas’ future goals are to continue to further her career in the Public Health field.
Missionary Leah Wilkerson was born and raised a daughter of New Bethel Abundant Life Ministries. She is a devoted wife to Deacon Daniel Wilkerson Ill and a loving mother to their three beautiful Children: Kimberly, Daniel and Amber. She is a Chef and enjoys cooking for her family and friends. Missionary Wilkerson has a love. care and passion for the people of God. She believes that her love for God can be shown and felt through the way she loves and feeds his people. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 42:1, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” her future endeavours include explanding her new found catering business and being all that God has for her to be.
Elect Elder Charoletta Williams, wife of Assistant Pastor Keith Williams, mother of 8 wonderful children and grandmother of 10 children. Charoletta has been a dedicated servant at New Bethel Abundant Life,for over 35 years, and served on many church auxiliaries such as the usher board, kitchen head, food bank, benevolence coordinator and the Beautification committee. Among those she has achieved many personal accomplishments in her life. Charletta has worked in the medical field since she was 17 years old. She started as a volunteer Candy Striper, GNA, EMT, RMA, Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy Instructor, and CPR Instructor. She currently holds A certification in Allied Human Service for group Counseling and Individual Counseling and has received an Associates in Biblical Studies. In addition to her many accomplishments, she became the owner and operator of her own Paramedical business. One of her favorite sayings is “To God be the Glory!” as none of this would be possible without God, her husband support and the support of her natural & spiritual family. .
