This is your first opportunity of the year to step inside and physically compare hundreds of new campervan, caravan and motorhome models from UK and Europe’s leading manufacturers and dealers, side-by-side. Whether you are new to touring, a seasoned pro or planning to buy your first caravan, campervan or motorhome, free help and impartial advice on all aspects of ownership is on offer from friendly industry experts in the Leisure Vehicle Advice Centre (Hall 3). You can try towing a caravan or driving a motorhome or campervan (under expert supervision) by booking onto the free sessions offered by the Camping and Caravanning Club and the Caravan and Motorhome Club respectively (see p32 & p30 for details).

Prefer camping under canvas? Head to the Tent and Camping Hall (Hall 4) to explore the latest trailer tents, tents for group and family adventures as well as a new Adventure Camping Zone presenting small, lightweight tents for hiking and cycle touring.

Now is the perfect time to update accessories ready for the year ahead. Shop awnings, security systems, solar panels, batteries, sleeping bags, outdoor furniture, tableware and so much more. Look-out for the Accessory Superstores (Halls 4 & 5) as well as products and services located around the Show’s perimeter aisles – special offers apply to many products!

Here you will find a large selection of leisure vehicles: touring caravans, motorhomes, holiday homes (sometimes referred to as holiday lodges) and mobile homes (referred to as park homes), related equipment and accessories (for use in, or with, or for the enjoyment of such vehicles), on display for you to view and purchase. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“the Regulations”). Trading Standards have advised NCC Events (as promoter of this show) that any contract signed by a consumer for the purchase of a leisure vehicle will be regarded as being “on premises”. This means that there is no automatic right under the Regulations for a consumer to cancel a contract for any purchase(s) of a leisure vehicle or related equipment/accessories concluded at the show because it will be regarded as an ‘on premises’ contract. Please note that some leisure vehicle manufacturers’ stands will have third party appointed dealers trading from their stand. Third party dealer representatives are identifiable by special badges clearly stating they are from an ‘Appointed Dealership’ and the name of the dealership will be in bold text. If you are considering buying a caravan and have never towed before or feel you’d benefit from a towing refresher, The Camping and Caravanning Club’s free caravan towing and manoeuvring tuition is a must. Get one-to-one tuition with one of the Club’s team of experienced instructors, who’ll be able to advise you on techniques and tips while behind the wheel of a new Subaru – the Show’s Official Tow Car Partner. Visit the Towing Tuition area outside Hall 5 to book. Over 25 years only, a full UK driving license is required – book early to avoid disappointment.

With so much to see and buy at the Show, don’t forget to make use of the free and secure Shop & Drop at the rear of Hall 5. Safely store any purchases in the Shop & Drop area until you are ready to leave the Show, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the day without carrying around extra, heavy baggage. Simply drive from the car park to Vehicle Exit Door 5.6 behind the Shop & Drop area to collect your items.

HPC Hydraulic Self Levelling Jacks

The Hydraulics are known for their ultra-light stabilisation and automatic aligning systems. Because Glide-Rite work with, among other things, aluminium jacks, the system can save a lot of weight. Depending on

the application there are systems available with a capacity of up to 10 tonnes per jack. With this the hydraulics can level vehicles from 2 tonnes up to a maximum of 30 tonnes.

The system offers excellent comfort, steady as a rock and never wobbles. Safety is paramount to the design and the system will not work without the handbrake. When you turn on the ignition, a red LED warns if any jacks are extended.

The Tow GLIDE Double lock allows easy connection of the tow hitch with about 5 inches hitch movement before its locked. It’s been designed in a fail-safe locking mechanism so that when the vehicle pulls away, the user MUST check the legs are correctly locked, only then can the double lock mechanism be used. One system backs up

the other yet it only weighs 9.5 kg which is 25% lighter than competitors’ products.

The Tow WEDGIT enables easy one person connection, to connect alone, locking the A Frame in either the upright or horizontal position allowing you to safely manoeuvre the vehicle without having to remove the A Frame.

Two new family-friendly layouts are joining the Bailey Pegasus Grande GT75 caravan range.

Bailey of Bristol’s best-selling 8ft wide Pegasus Grande GT75 caravan range has expanded to six models with the introduction of two new family layouts.

The first of the new arrivals is the Ancona, a single-axle, five-berth layout with two dedicated eating areas, twin fixed single bunks, and an end corner washroom.

Parking

Parking is included with all tickets. You do not need to pay on exit.

Dogs

Only officially accredited assistance dogs are permitted at the show on production of their Assistance Dogs UK card. No other dogs may be brought onto the premises or kept locked in vehicles at any time.

Cash Machines

Machines offering free withdrawals are available at Birmingham International Train Station.

Cafés

There are a number of cafés and restaurants within the Halls and along the Piazza Concourse.

Children

First Aid

If you require First Aid assistance, please notify any member of NEC staff or the Organisers. If the injury is serious please phone the Venue Operations Centre on 0121 767 2222 or 2222 from any internal (black) phone.

General Convenience

Children’s wristbands can be picked up (free of charge) at all Hall main entrances and info points. They can help enormously in reuniting lost children with parents and guardians. Please fill in all details carefully.

Cloakroom

Cloakrooms are located around the public Piazza Concourse, operating between 09:30 and 18:30 daily at a charge of £2 per coat and £3 per bag. Overnight storage is not possible and any items not collected by this time will be taken to Lost Property. You can contact them on 0121 767 3883.

Accessibility

Londis Newsagents have a branch on the Piazza Concourse at the top of the stairs next to hall 5.

Lost Property

For lost property, please attend the Organisers’ Office at the front of Hall 2 in the first instance. Outside of show opening hours, please visit the Security Suite adjacent to Hall 2 on the Piazza. Alternatively, you can call the Lost Property Office on 0121 767 3883.

Organisers’ Office

The main Organisers’ Office is located at the front of Hall 2 and is open between 08:00–18:30 each day. The Press Office is located at the front of Hall 4.

Meeting

Accessible toilets are available across the venue. Changing Places facilities are available by Hall 2. If you require any assistance, please contact a member of NEC staff.

Railway

Birmingham International Railway Station is a 5-minute walk to the show. From the main train station concourse, visitors should follow signs for the NEC over the Bridgelink and down the escalators to reach the show.

Shuttle Bus

The NEC operates a free shuttle bus service from the Car Parks to the Piazza main entrance. This service is in operation between 08:00–19:00 daily.

Taxis

T.O.A. Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the Piazza main entrance. If you have requested a pick-up from another private hire firm, they will collect you from the secondary rank opposite Hall 5.

Toilets

There is a meeting point on the public Piazza Concourse opposite Wetherspoons, and is signposted accordingly.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the venue aside from within designated smoking areas. This also applies to the use of e-cigarettes and vaping. Designated smoking areas are located outside each of the Piazza Main Entrances.

Toilets are situated at the rear of all Halls throughout the show and at various intervals along the public Piazza Concourse. Any member of NEC staff will be able to direct you to the nearest one. Alternatively, please refer to your show maps.

Wi-Fi

Free visitor Wi-Fi is available across the NEC. No code is required, simply just search for the network and follow the steps on screen.
