ore than 1,500 members of the emergency services took part in a parade on 7 September to celebrate National Emergency Services Day, with frontline responders once again making an impressive mark on the occasion. Now in its sixth year, the event is the official day of recognition of Ireland’s frontline emergency services, and gives the public an opportunity to thank them for their valuable work.
