For the 2023 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference (ASPAC) Project Chairman Marc Te, everything is geared up for a fun-filled and fruitful ASPAC Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“We are already in the tail-end of our preparations, as we have finalized the hotel accommodations and the tour packages that JCI Manila delegates may avail of. We wanted our delegates to have a complete experience and ensure that we get the best of what Indonesia can o er,” said Marc Te. He added that much of the preparation went around choosing among various tour packages that were most suitable to the schedule of the delegates, noting that he wanted the JCI Manila delegates to have an enriching and yet exciting experience.

“Of course, this is business as usual for JCI Manila. We will represent Manila and the Philippines in the ASPAC Trade Show and Business Matching proper, but we are also trying to maximize this opportunity to learn from other neighboring countries on how they have been handling their businesses during and after this pandemic. Given that the last ASPAC was conducted virtually, we wanted this conference to be not just purely business, but also a relaxing time for the delegates. To ensure everything would go as planned, I am going there next week just for an ocular visit,” Marc Te said in jest.

Among the other activities slated in Jakarta, the conference will also include leisure activities such as safari tour in Taman Safari in Bogor, Island Hopping Day Trip, Bandung Tour, Cisadane River Adventure, Bogor Botanical Garden, Bogor Tour, Leuwi Hejo Waterfall Trekking, Bogor Jeep Adventure Trip, and Bogor Paragliding Adventure.

As for International Relations (INTREL) Director Gio Valencia, the 2023 JCI ASPAC Jakarta Indonesia will be a great opportunity to collaborate with our ASEAN JCI Brothers and explore future partnerships, as we have so many similarities with Indonesia.

“In some ways, there are so many similarities culturally and economically between Indonesia and the Philippines. This ASPAC Conference is a great opportunity for both countries to work together and develop together,” said Director Gio.

The 2023 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference will be held on May 10-13 2023, in Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia. Registration is on-going, for inquiries, you may contact Project Chairman Marc Te.
