I have been waiting to do a Kate Middleton makeup breakdown for the longest time and the Duchess’ Royal Visit to India earlier this month seems to be the perfect opportunity! Kate Middleton turned heads in a gorgeous blue Jenny Peckham dress when she, along with Prince William, attended a grand Bollywood gala hosted in Mumbai in their honour. You don’t have to be Royalty to rock the look (although it does help!), so read on to learn how to dazzle like the Duchess!
Kate Middleton flaunts that ‘from within’ glow like very few can. As always the canvas is as important as what you apply on top so start with some skincare products. The preparations begin the day before a big occasion - make sure you are properly hydrated and that you apply a night moisturiser the night before. Start the makeup application with a moisturiser (oil-free if you suffer from oily skin!). Then apply a primer focusing on the t-zone.
To get the Duchess’ trademark smoky eye, apply a grey toned eye shadow all over the lid.
Apply a medium coverage foundation all over the face, blending into the neck. The Duchess is said to be a fan of the Lancome Tient Miracle foundation, which she used on her wedding day too.
Next draw a thin line, as close to the lashline as possible using black gel eyeliner, smudging it gently to blend it slightly into the eye shadow
Sweep some pink blush from the apples of the cheek towards the temples. Choosing one with a slight shimmer will add a subtle highlight.
Complete your look by opting for a natural pink lipstick which has some sheen to get a soft look. You are ready to be the centre of attention at any party – Bollywood or not!
Next, take a black eye pencil and line along your waterline. Finish with a generous coat of black mascara. The Duchess has been spotted buying the Lancome Hypnose range before!

It seems like the season of Shah Rukh Khan – The actor was in London last week to promote his film FAN. The popular tourist attraction, Madame Tussauds dressed the actor’s wax statue to look like his character, Gaurav - it seems that Khan himself too could not get enough of the wax figure!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been winning hearts on their annual tours for a while now. It was little surprise then that the young royals charmed their way into Indian hearts on their first official tour of the country. The tour is not all work though – they got to feed these adorable baby elephants and rhinos at the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservations in India.
Udta Punjab has been in the news ever since it first got announced. It brings former lovers Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor Khan, back in a film after many years. The film
is eagerly awaited for its interesting storyline that revolves around drug use in Punjab in India. Shahid and Kareena shared their first looks from the film that also features Alia Bhatt, and we could not help but admire how beautiful Kareena looks even in this simple garb!
William and Kate also attended a Bollywood charity gala hosted in their honour. The who’s who of the industry attended and it was this photo of Kate Middleton with Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwariya Rai and Madhuri Dixit-Nene that soon started trending. In addition to the excitement caused by the Duchess’s presence it was also a happy reunion for the cast of the epic love story – Devdas!
While we have often seen Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan in various ‘macho’ states, it was this photo of the star with his newborn nephew, Ahil that made everyone go ‘aww’ this week. Ahil was born to Salman’s youngest sister, Arpita Khan and her husband Aayush Sharma. It looks like we will be seeing lots more of Salman too, now that the teaser for his next film, ‘Sultan’ has been released!
The pair that had us dancing to ‘Abhi Tau Party Shuru Hui Hai’ in 2014’s Khoobsurat reunited for a selfie at a recent awards ceremony. The two have had a great year so far with both Kapoor and Sons and Neerja being massive hits. We do hope to see Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor together on the big screen soon – we love the easy breezy chemistry the two share!
2016 seems to be the year of fresh pairings. Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif will be seen together in Baar Baar Dekho, and Sidharth shared this photo from the film’s wrap. The film has been shot in Scotland and Thailand among other locations. That combined with the very good looking cast and we are already excited!

What is it about eating food outdoors that makes it taste so good? When you’re out and about and in need of something small to keep you going, stopping at a roadside vendor or street cart is often the best and tastiest option instead of a full meal. This issue we’ve collected together

Method 1. Mix first 1/2 cup curds with 1/2 water. To this add the besan and mix well to get a smooth batter, of dropping not pouring consistency. Varun confirms Dharma film but mum on details
Actor Varun Dhawan kept mum on his “Student Of The Year” director Karan Johar’s film “Shuddhi”, but confirmed that he is doing another film with Karan’s production house, Dharma Productions. At the last day shoot of his film “Dishoom”, Varun, asked about “Shuddhi”, said: “Honestly, for me, every film is important, even if I have only a day’s work for the film. Every film is very close to me. As far as ‘Shuddhi’ is concerned I think Karan Johar ji has given the answers to you. I’m doing another film with Dharma, and the announcement will be made soon.” There have been reports that Varun will reunite with his “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” co-star Alia Bhatt, for a film that takes the franchise forward titled “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, directed by the same director, Shashank Khaitan. Varun and Alia were spotted leaving the Dharma Productions office a few days back,
where they reportedly had discussed the film. About “Shuddhi”, there hasn’t been much progress after Karan had confirmed last May that Varun and Alia were chosen to be part of the film, directed by Karan Malhotra. Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Salman Khan have been the names that were said to star in the film, over different intervals, before Varun and Alia. Some reports have also claimed that the film has been shelved but veteran singer Udit Narayan recently said that he has sung a song with Shreya Ghoshal for the film. About “Dishoom” with John Abraham, Varun said: “It’s honestly been a very challenging film, because there is a lot of action, John and me have been part of some daredevil stunts.” Varun was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Dilwale”.

Deadly Devgn Ajay Devgn’s ambitious directorial venture ‘Shivaay’ has been at the cynosure of all eyes, since its unique motion posters and creatives were revealed to fans. For all those who can’t wait for Shivaay to come to theaters, here’s a very special sneak peak of the megastar shooting at a height of a staggering 2914 meters above sea level!! Situated in the Balkan Range of Mountains, Devgn chose the Vihren peak due to its impressive and powerfully dominating presence with its breathtaking high wall. We hear, Devgn and his team were shooting at the highest peak of Bulgaria’s Pirin Mountain’s at VIHREN peak in Bansko. Interestingly in 2014 the Winter Olympics were housed in the resort below the Vihren peak that Ajay Devgn decided to shoot on. There was heavy snowfall the night before and the temperatures unusually were running record low at the time for the season. Due to the extreme cold, Devgn suddenly got hypothermia. The Doctor advised at least 2 days of rest but Ajay Devgn was back in 30mins inspite of the temperature that they
were shooting in. It was -19 degrees Celsius. The Doctor attributed Devgn’s sudden Hypothermia to very tough terrain and lack of adequate warm clothing. While the unit was exhausted but prepped for the cold, bundled in layers of woolens; Devgn was in costume and was only clad in a T shirt and a jacket. Also the level of altitude mixed with the chopper hovering over his head blew a lot of snow and ice around the area where Devgn was isolated for these critical shots. The mountain specialists and guide on the shoot was also very worried as this is not a usual shoot that he has guided before.The Bulgarian crew, though used to extreme cold conditions were also very worried at the 40mins non-stop chopper shoot that Ajay Devgn pulled off on top of the Vihren Peak while all the crew waited on a safe point below. Meanwhile in between all this the crew was very tense, and were trying to make frantic calls as they had to source a doctor on top of the mountain which was a trek and two ski lifts away.

Juan Antonio Bayona to direct ‘Jurassic World 2’ Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson, Kevin Hart may star in next ‘Jumanji’ Next installment of Sony’s ‘Jumanji’ is up for a summer 2017 release, but no cast member has yet been announced. Filmmaker Juan Antonio Bayona has been announced as the director for the sequel to “Jurassic World”. “It’s official! So excited to join the Jurassic Team!” Bayona wrote on Twitter following the announcement, reports aceshowbiz.com. Colin Trevorrow, who directed “Jurassic World”, was unable to sit behind the lens for the next instalment since he has signed on for “Star Wars: Episode IX”. He, however, will return as a producer and writer. “Proud to collaborate with one
of my favorite filmmakers on the next Jurassic adventure. JA Bayona, it’s all yours,” Trevorrow tweeted to welcome the new director. Bayona is known for directing 2007’s horror flick “The Orphanage” and 2012’s truestory drama “The Impossible”. His next feature film is called “A Monster Calls” starring Liam Neeson, Sigourney Weaver and Felicity Jones. The second “Jurassic World” movie is scheduled for June 2018 release. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are expected to return for this new one.
However, sources revealed that the studio is lining up two comedy big hitters, namely Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart for the film, reports the Independent. Johnson and Hart, who will star alongside one another in upcoming comedy ‘Central Intelligence,’ recently, hosted the MTV Movie Awards together earlier this month. The film was originally released in 1995 and starred Robin Williams as Alan Parrish, a man released from a board game having been trapped inside for 26 years. The upcoming installment of the flick will be directed by Jake Kasdan.

Adeel Hussain: ‘We’ve lost out on 40 years of branding Pakistan’
by Ayesha Babar Pakistani cinema is back with a bang – and this time it has so much more to offer. From raw, hardhitting features like Manto to romantic comedies like Bachaana. Producers are well-aware of this new market and after the tremendous success, in Pakistan and overseas, of Jawaani Phir Naheen Aani and Karachi se Lahore among others, are keen to deliver wholesome, fun entertainment to audiences. Bachaana is the latest Pakistani film to hit UK screens this weekend and stars popular actors Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed and Adeel Hashmi in the lead roles. Bachaana is the story of Vicky, a Pakistani cab driver in Mauritius meets and eventually saves Sanam Saeed’s character, Aalia, a young girl from India, from her evil husband, played by Adeel Hashmi. Shot in idyllic locations, with state of the art cameras and technology, the film feels like a visual treat for viewers. The acting of the leads has also received rave reviews from critics. Since its release in Pakistan in February of this year, Bachaana has delivered solid box office numbers. One of the highlights has been to see Addel Hashmi in his first ever serious role. The actor, marketer and activist has become somewhat of a TV icon over the last two
decades with his portrayal of various comic roles, and is best remembered for his character of ‘Lucy’ from the sitcom ‘Teen Bata Teen’. Asian Style Magazine caught up with Adeel while he was in London to promote Bachaana and asked him about the film, his career and the Pakistani cinema industry. So you have finally made your film debut – after years of working on TV. How important was it for you to act in Bachaana? Adeel: It was very important personally for me to do a film. Pakistani cinema is coming up in a big way and we wanted to form a team and make a film. There was a personal journey for me as an actor too. I had not done any films before. I had done television for 15 years
but mostly comic roles. Then the director of Bachaana, Nasir Khan, came along and offered me to do the baddie in the film and I looked at him and said: you want me - the only person in the country who people don’t wanna see as a baddie? you want me to do the negative role in your film? And he said: Sir mein aapko jaanta houn aur aap ander se bahut evil aadmi hain (I know you and you are mischievously evil inside) - and I am sure you will do it and do it well! (laughs). And I thought to myself that this would be a real challenge – one that I would love to take up It was definitely one of the things that people
were most surprised to see in the trailer – you in a negative avatar. Since I do not have too many dialogues, I remember discussing with Nasir, the director, that I want to play this character as a psychological villain – where you do very little but the audience can still see that something evil is going on inside this guy’s head. And I remember, discussing this with Nasir and trying to profile the character and to see what was the best way to approach it. And finally we nailed down one and said this is the guy I wanted to play. And I think that kind of worked – when I watched the film with an audience, I could see that they were reacting to him – which is a success. The film was released in Pakistan in February. What has been the reaction so far? The response has been tremendously positive and I was just looking at the poster that has been put up in the UK cinema; it features five quotes from five different newspapers in Pakistan, all saying good things about the film. And that’s a very rare thing when everyone comes together and has the same thing to say about a film. Especially in Pakistan! Especially in Pakistan! You know you can’t bribe all of them (laughs).

Are there any plans to release Bachaana in India too, especially since Sanam Saeed has garnered a huge fan following there after Zindagi Gulzar Hai? Generally, it is very difficult to release a Pakistani film in India. They have their own films, and those are so much bigger budget-wise that it might be a challenge to make our mark there. Give it a couple of years and we will definitely get there. Not yet, but we are well on our way! Pakistani cinema has had a renaissance moment in the last couple of years. Where before we had hardly a release or two in a year, we had about 15 good films coming out of the country last year and even more are lined up for this year. I would like to get your reaction on this resurgence. I think this is absolutely fantastic. In fact, I feel like we have missed out on 30-40 years of cinema. And being a marketing person, I feel we have more importantly lost out on 40 years of branding Pakistan. I mean, look at what India has done through its films – they have branded India all over the world. And we haven’t done that because we just didn’t realise the power of the film. Now the good thing is that the new age filmmakers have woken up and in the last five years, the number of screens
has mushroomed - we now have over a 100 in Pakistan. And about 50-70 cinemas are coming up in the next 4-5 years. So I definitely believe that the Pakistani film industry is going to go places. Already films are being released in key centres like the UK, US, and Dubai and I think in the years to come there will be much more positive growth.

And the most heartening thing is that thankfully, our young filmmakers have not gone the Bollywood route. Instead, they have told their own stories. Films like Waar, Bol, Shah, Jawaani Phir Naheen Aani, Moor, Manto – they are all stylistically so different and I think that is fantastic. That we are telling our own story in our own unique way.
surprised. One good thing, whether it was by chance or done on purpose was that Mohib has done a lot a theatre previously and Sanam too, has worked a lot in theatre. And when you bring theatrical actors on screen – they are used to working hard, they are used to rehearsals, they are used to working long hours, and they are used to getting it right.
The young and not so young filmmakers, dabbling in this new age cinema are telling fresh, interesting stories. That is phenomenal and I am very happy about it.
And if you see the film, you will see that these two have pretty much pulled off an impossible task – with a two –character film, you can’t definitely can’t take your eyes off the screen – their tempo, their pace, their chemistry, is just very, very refreshing. So I was very happy working with them. Only hopefully, you won’t ask them the same question, because they might have some bad things to say about me (laughs).
Ayesha: How was your experience of working with Mohib and Sanam? Mohib has done a few films before and Sanam has made her film debut with Bachaana. How was the chemistry? Adeel: I was actually very pleasantly surprised. I am a very private person – the team that I have worked with for the past 15 years is my own team. I usually hesitate to work with people from outside my team but I have to confess that I was very pleasantly

Ayesha: From the trailer, we can see that the story revolves around a Pakistani man, Mohib and an Indian couple, which is you and Sanam in Mauritius. Were you very conscious that you didn’t want it to become a clichéd story because we have seen similar stories before where either the man has been Pakistani and the woman Indian or vice versa? Adeel: I think it is always important to not to do creative things in a clichéd
way, no matter what it is. An idea can be simple, an idea can be repetitive – a love story has obviously been attempted many times but it is the way you do it, the way you deliver art, the way you produce anything that is entertaining – the craft is what people want to come and see. We all know that Michelangelo made David but that doesn’t mean that people do not wish to see any other depictions of David. In fact, people keep going over and over to see different figures of David. That’s because it is the craft that gives audiences delight as much as the subject. This is a light-hearted, fast-paced, humorously entertaining story and I think people would like to see it for its treatment, its humour, its tempo, I think people would love it. Ayesha: What is next in the pipeline for you? When do audiences next see you on the silver screen, after Bachaana, of course. Adeel: We are working on a new film project that should hopefully be out by the next year. You know, Man proposes and God Disposes so let’s see what the Supreme Commander has in store for us. Ayesha: All the best for the UK release of Bachaana and for your other projects!

TIGER SHROFF & SHRADDA KAPOOR – All set to be rebels in love! Tiger Shroff and Shradda Kapoor told us that they are both in a ‘good space’, as they sat down to chat to Asian Style Magazine about their upcoming film Baaghi – Rebels For Love. They are part of the
Bollywood youth brigade and, with a number of solid films in the pipeline, are both ready to have their best year at the movies yet! Shradda’s first film might
not have set the screens on fire but since then she has steadily built an envious filmography. The box office seems to love her, with 100-crore hits in Aashiqui 2, ABCD 2 and Ek Villain amongst
others. The critics too, have been largely positive. With Baaghi, she is trying something new as she will be seen in her first action role. We spoke to her about trying out this new image and what lies ahead

sir, and I hope there are many more to come. I was very lucky I got to do a lot of new things in this film. Baaghi is about being a rebel in love and there is a lot of action in the film. While we were shooting, I was simultaneously prepping for action. We had dedicated some hours each day to prepare for my action sequences. Since it was the first time and I was yet learning the correct techniques, I had a couple of injuries on set but I guess pain is a part of learning anything new. How was the experience of working with Tiger, who is still a relative newcomer?

This has been a memorable experience for me and I must add I have learnt a lot. Tiger is very inspiring and the way he has does his scenes is amazing and his positivity on sets is unmatchable. This is my first film with Sajid
He is so high on energy and he hasn’t changed one bit. He used to play basketball on the set, and he has a very wicked sense of humour. But what’s best about him is that he is very passionate and focused on whatever he does. What is the one thing that you would want viewers to take away with them after watching Baaghi?
Every actor hopes for his/ her film to work. We want a good audience reaction to the film. Everybody should just enjoy watching the film, is what I hope for. You’re already working on ‘OK Jaanu’ where you reunite with Aditya Roy Kapur – can you tell us a little more about that project? I am very excited for the film. This is the first time (after ‘Aashiqui 2’) that Aditya and I will be coming back together. Shaad will be directing, and I loved his ‘Saathiya’. I think it’ll be very interesting to be directed by him. It’ll be amazing. This is a totally different film and we play characters that we have never played before. We come back together in a very different zone this time, not in an intense love story. I hope people enjoy the film. Tiger Shroff, son of actor Jacky Shroff, had a much celebrated debut in the 2014 ‘Heropanti’, a film also launched Kriti Sanon. While 2015 saw Tiger featuring in a couple of

very successful music videos – with Atif Aslam’s Zindagi Aa Raha Houn Main topping the charts – and earning some highprofile endorsements, he didn’t have a film release. He told us more about being a relative newcomer in Bollywood and his thoughts on becoming an action hero. You gained immediate fame after your debut film – everyone was speaking about you and Kriti and you won most of the Best Debut awards. Was there a lot of pressure then to get the second film choice right? I think the audience is good with newcomers and are sometimes very thoughtful. In my second film, I want to prove to people that I’m not a stroke of luck or a one-hit wonder. I have worked very hard and I want to show people my growth as an actor, dancer and an action star. I want to make my family happy and proud and I’m not overconfident, but I am quite confident with our outcome. I was not in a rush. I thought with ‘Heropanti’ I got the acceptance from the audience and keeping that in mind I wanted to make the right choice for my second film. As I think the second film is equally very important, I wanted to take my time to prepare for this role. Baaghi seems to be a tailor-made film for you to showcase your martial arts training with some superb action sequences – was it a conscious choice to pick an action film? Is that the genre you are most comfortable in?

I am not consciously building an action-hero image for myself in the industry. It’s all about standing out. When I look at other actors, I think, ‘What am I bringing to the industry? How is it (the industry) benefiting from me? I believe that by bringing in my talent on action and stunts, I can make a difference. 2016 seems to be a year of fresh pairings. There’s lots of excitement around your pairing with Shradda Kapoor in Baaghi. How was the experience of working with her? The chemistry between me and Shraddha is definitely one of the high points in the film. It has been very easy because we have known each other since childhood. I was very comfortable with her from day one. Romance is quite a strong element in our film and she never felt uncomfortable nor did she make me feel uncomfortable. We’ve been friends since childhood. We had great fun during workshops and in between the shots. Was the equation different as she is already a bit of an established star? No not at all. She has not changed one bit. I am blessed to be working with Shraddha Kapoor and to be a part of such an honest film. We knew each other from our childhood days but she has not changed at all. She is normal and simple and it’s just very inspiring being around her. You were announced as the face of HRX – the brand of one of your idols. Can you tell us
how the experience has been? I am a big a fan of Hrithik Roshan. I respect him for his work ethic. He is always pushing his limits. He has a fantastic physique, he is superb actor, dances so well and his body language has impeccable grace. People want to have six- pack abs but in the process they lose their craft. Hrithik Sir is one of those people who have merged everything beautifully. He has nailed the aesthetics and over that he puts in his craft as well. To be a part of his brand was an honor for me. I love the whole ‘golden goddess’ trend going around too! The right bronzer will add warmth to your face and give you a sun-kissed look. It is important to choose the product with a correct undertone – that means that the bronzer should look more brown or gold
than orange in the makeup pan. I see so many Asian women choosing orangey shades and while a little dusting of that colour on the apples of your cheek gives you a beautiful blush, it is certainly not the ideal product for bronzing. Lots of drugstore brands have produced fresh collections for the summer, and it is worth trying an
inexpensive product first to see if the look suits you! Apply the bronzer with a large, fluffy round brush to all the parts of your face where the sun will naturally hit you. This would be the cheeks, the nose, the chin and the temples. Start with a little and build up if necessary. Remember, a little goes a long way!

Ayesha Says: Dear Pashmina,
The skin on our eyelids is one of the most actively engaged parts of our face. Every time we blink, the skin is stretched and then relaxed. Over time, this delicate skin is most vulnerable to fine lines and wrinkles. To ensure that your eye shadow stays on, you need to make it sit better on this active skin. I cannot stress hydration enough. Once you have applied an eye cream (yes, even under your makeup!), go over the lid with a neutral coloured primer. Opt for an oil-free formula as the eyelids can very often become oily over the course of a few hours. The way you apply the eye shadow also makes a huge difference. Shake any excess product off of your brush and dab the colour on to the primer instead of swiping it across the lid. This makes the colour adhere to the lid much better. If using a cream eye shadow, try and go over that lightly with a similarly coloured powder eye shadow, as powder is better at absorbing excess oil and thus prevents creasing!

Ayesha Says: Dear Mrs. Hasan,
Darker colours lips have troubled me for many years too. I have now established a regular routine of keeping my lips moisturised but also exfoliated so that there is no extra dead skin to dry out and ruin the look. I would suggest that you always apply a lip balm as you start to apply your makeup. This gives you about 10-15 minutes to hydrate until you get to lipstick application. Once you have done up the rest of your face, take a tissue and wipe away any excess balm very gently. Apply the lipstick next and use your finger to massage the colour on so that it spreads evenly. This will help you avoid the ‘chapped’ look and make your lipstick last much longer!

Choosing a venue is one of the most important decisions you will make when planning your wedding. On many occasions, brides and grooms will fall head over heels in love with a venue without asking the right questions or thinking about if it will work for the big
day. While it is important for you to like your venue, there are so many things to take into consideration when making up your mind! Here’s our top 10 list of things to look out for: Where is the venue located? Is it going to be easy for your guests to get to? If not, it might be worth looking elsewhere because there’s nothing worse than guests getting lost or turning up late. You also need to think about your suppliers – will they be able to find the place easily?

Look at the layout of the room or various rooms you will be using. Is there a good general flow, and will it suit the type of event you will be putting on? Some venues may have restrictions in certain areas so be sure to check all the details before you sign. If you’re hiring the venue for the full day and have more than one event taking place, ensure there is somewhere your guests can relax during the turnaround time.
If you’re looking to have a particular type of food on your big day then check to see if the venue will allow outdoor caterers or if they only work with one or two preferred suppliers. While it can sometimes be in your interest to work with one of their preferred caterers, make sure they’re not charging you over the odds and always shop around.
When it comes to Asian weddings numbers are always fairly high. Even if it’s a small Asian wedding you’re still looking at around the 250 – 300 mark, which is a number not all hotels or independent venues can cater for. Our advice would be to not try and squeeze as many people as you can into a room and fill it to full capacity as it doesn’t allow for any breathing space. You want your guests to feel relaxed and fresh, not flustered and claustrophobic.
Lighting
Speaking of signage above, you need to ensure there is sufficient lighting so that your guests can read any signs – especially if your event is in the evening. The lighting outside is just as important as the lighting inside your venue. If your event is in the morning look to see if there are any large windows which will provide natural lighting. If it’s in the evening check to see if you need to hire any extra lighting on the day to ensure your photographs come out well.

It is not uncommon for there to be no WiFi or phone signal in venues that are further afield (i.e., in the middle of nowhere). While this may seem as a blessing in disguise for some brides who don’t want their guests glued to their phone screens, you should understand that it may irritate some guests. It also means that it will be a lot harder to stay in contact with your suppliers, which could cause problems should anything go wrong.
Your wedding date pretty much determines where you should be getting married. Some venues may have beautiful views in the summer, but may not be very practical to get to in the winter. For example if you need to travel through narrow uphill lanes and there is a sudden outbreak of snow, it’s going to be very difficult for everyone to get where they need to be.
Ultimately when it comes to making a decision, go with your gut. If you have a meeting with a wedding sales coordinator and you feel like they’re not very excited about your event or being very responsive, chances are they won’t be the most helpful on the day. If on the other hand someone is going out their way to accommodate as many of your requests as possible – it’s surely a good sign!

Poets Corner Charlotte Brontë Charlotte Brontë (21 April 1816 – 31 March 1855) was an English novelist and poet, the eldest of the three Brontë sisters who survived into adulthood and whose novels have become classics of English literature. She first published her works (including her best known novel, Jane Eyre) under the pen name Currer Bell. Recently Yorkshire celebrated the 200th anniversary of her birth, as one of the county’s greatest and most revered writers of the last few centuries. Charlotte was born in Thornton, west of Bradford in West Yorkshire, in 1816 as the third of
six children, four of whom would survive to adulthood. After her mother died early in her life, Charlotte and her sisters were sent to a boarding school in Lancashire where two of her elder sisters died. She and her sisters wrote from an early age and become a governess to rich families, teaching English to their children in return for board and food. She began writing poems and books such as Jane Eyre, Shirley and Villette under a male pseudonym as she believed that her work would be unduly looked down upon as a woman. Charlotte died soon after marrying Curate Arthur Bell Nicholls, aged just 38. She was pregnant at the time of her death and it has been suggested that she died due to dehydration caused by severe morning sickness. She was much revered within her lifetime and even more so after her death, securing an everlasting place in the hearts of the British people and the UK’s rich literary history.
