A one-day programme which allows participants to actively participate in orangutan rehabilitation work at the Matang Wildlife Centre. Participants have a chance to learn from a dedicated team of experts from Sarawak Forestry about the challenges of orangutan rehabilitation and related work at the centre. All funds received are channelled to orangutan conservation programmes and orangutan, educational and awareness projects.

Sanctuary
Visit the Burmese Star Tortoise which is an endangered species originally from the dry zone in Myanmar. The sanctuary has been actively breeding tortoises to release into the wild – in total about 2,800 tortoises so far. Visitors can enjoy the centre and stroll through the natural setting of the sanctuary to see the tortoises.
