Accessible Trails

We appreciate that for people with disabilities, the very act of travelling can pose more challenges than pleasure. In line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 11: ‘To make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable’, we are committed to ensuring that ‘Accessibility’ is included as a central element in our responsible tourism practices.

In 2021, our Thailand office team introduced our newly developed pilot ‘Accessible trails wheelchair-friendly tours and excursions across Thailand’ as a group pilot project. In 2022, Asian Trails was proud to receive recognition for our work surrounding accessible tourism products at the World Travel Mart (WTM) under the category ‘Access for the Differently-Abled: as Travellers, Employees and Holidaymakers’.
