Overview THE 2019 SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC INNOVATION SUMMIT HOSTED WORLD CLASS SPEAKERS, THOUGHT LEADERSHIP DISCUSSIONS PANELS AND ENGAGING WORKSHOPS TO SHOWCASE EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES, PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS OF THE FUTURE... HOWEVER IT WAS THE INAUGURAL STUDENT DESIGNATHON THAT TACKLED THE HARD HITTING QUESTIONS! Over 50 students from 3 Sydney schools were invited to participate in a sustainability workshop aimed at exposing students to realworld experiences in the STEM ﬁelds to help shape their learning paths and ultimately their career platform.

The students participated in a variety of sessions and workshops from industry experts all based around design thinking and how innovative solutions are driving all aspects of industry now and into the future. Students formed 15 teams and were encouraged to ideate around the energy dilemma and then present sustainable solutions that create lasting positive change. The bold ideas presented were focussed on how society can address global issues such as poverty including access to food, energy, electricity and water.
