Accommodations

At the Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor Lodge, we have been hosting overnight travelers for over 250 years. From the Historic Inn built in 1771 to our Country Motor Lodge, each of our 125 rooms are located in four unique settings and are designed with comfort in mind. All feature private baths.

PUBLICK HOUSE HISTORIC INN was established in 1771 and maintains its 18th century ambiance while providing 21st century comforts. Our 17 guest rooms in this historical setting are decorated with period antiques or reproductions. All of our guest rooms are non-smoking.

CHAMBERLAIN HOUSE which was once an old farm house and offered overnight accommodations, was reopened in 2016 after renovating the farm house portion and adding new construction that now features 20 rooms and suites. These rooms are designed for those staying in the area on business or spending the weekend with friends and family celebrating a wedding or special event. All of our guest rooms are non-smoking.

THE COUNTRY MOTOR LODGE, just a short walk from the Main Inn nestled in an apple orchard opened in 1969. The Country Motor Lodge offers 63 standard hotel rooms and overlooks the Publick House and is connected via private walkway and road to the Inn. All guest rooms are non-smoking. Pet-friendly rooms are available upon request.

TILLYER HOUSE, our newest addition opened in October 2018. Located to the right of the Publick House Historic Inn, offering 28 overnight rooms, fitness room, spa and large sitting areas in the lobby and throughout for guests to gather and relax while enjoying their accommodations. Each room offers two queen size beds, refrigerator, in-room safe and walk-in shower (some rooms also have standard bathtubs). All of our guest rooms are non-smoking.
