Digital Nomad In Collaboration with Haitam Daoudi and EGE ÖZ Award : 2021- CBDX CITIES FOR ALL "Digital Nomad " was selected a finalist entry and was exhibited in the Calgary city hall in Canada.

Typology: Mobile Hosuing

The digitization of the world is changing the nature of work, turning many jobs into freelance; especially for young professionals like us who are struggling to transition. This calls for flexibili-ty that is not offered by the traditional ways of liv-ing in a city; flexibility that offers the necessary amenities, while being mobile and connected. We try to tackle these issues with a mobile house design equipped with 3 rotating furniture panels; each with their variety of use and program. This generates different conditions in the small square meters of the house while optimizing the use of space. Additional-ly, the house can split, which results in a compact core that is equipped with all the necessary utilities and a more stationary body. The small, movable portion can sustain itself for a limited amount of time (going for a business meeting, short job in the city, vacation etc.) while the main body is connected to the repurposed infrastructure hub(s) that are spread between cities. Aristotle defined humans as “political animals” more than 2000 years ago; we all have collective and indi-vidual needs. In our project, we respond to this duali-ty by allowing for the opportunity to group in search of knowledge and community, but also detach ones home to seek other profound goals.

Rural Circular Urbanism Typology: Territorial project With the increase of climate change, we must take actions, to learn how to eliminate waste by design. In this project, the aim of the design is to readapt our habits to a future circular economy while providing the needs for a thriving startup business district where many from different towns commute to. Furthermore, Rural Depopulation is a serious threat to our climate and advantages villagers have to offer. Rural dwellers move to the cities to be closer to their work but inevitably cutting ties with their own village causing further damage there. Hence in a time that most jobs can be done online with the occasional office meet up this means it can be possible to still allow rural life to thrive by implementing a flexible rural-urban living complex The housing complex has a waste infrastructure to ease the process of sorting waste for the inhabitants and directly connects to the waste to energy factory and green workshops. Furthermore, the units are arranged around infrastructure to allow for flexible living for the different rural and urban housing needs who can co-live and exchange cultures. Flexible living is created with different typologies for different types of users proposed to create new RuralUrban dweller Secondly, green workshop areas are created to exchange knowledge and experiences so that we can learn and innovate urban areas of the future while still creating a production and Market space for individual small producers cutting the middle man out.

Bombolla Freixenet Stadium

Typology: Territorial project ( Residential & factory A house is a pre-fabricated building condition on a site. In this project, the aim was to create a courtyard feel that is broken visually and is arranged around one large plaza where community programs take place, with axial movement. In addition, there are multiplying farming areas vertically reflects the historical typology that once existed there. In this project, the room acts as the basic unit and so the buildings are not individual architectural pieces, but a continuous environment of interconnected neutral plans. Each building is made up of the assemblage of private rooms of 5m x 5m, whose absence leaves place for internal patios of multiples of that size. The result is a three-dimensional sequence that can be organized differently through time. Depending on the time of day housing takes place, but also workplaces such as offices, ateliers, workshops, recreational activities like bars and small restaurants can find their place on this grid and several functions can be joined together (i.e. a house with a home office, a co-working space with rooms where to sleep and a common kitchen). The presence of a continuous plan and the repetition of the same concept is present throughout the different scales from masterplan to cell.

Sheltered Prostitiution

Sheltered Prostititution

In Collaboration with Haitam Daoudi and EGE ÖZ

Typology: Landscaping+ Pavilion Escenario Puerta del Angel is the core event space of our selected site. It is treated as a separate business entity for audience-based events and has one user, cirque du Soleil from 21 October - 15 January. In other times it increases safety concern in the areas around it as it encourages the feeling of abandonment of the site due to the lack of activity and human density. One strategy to overcome this is to introduce connective landscaping elements that not only connect the rest of the site but also encourage activities on a daily basis not only when events are taking place on-site. The strategy used to enable this is the active division of the site for the suitable activity and users in relation to time so that they don’t affect each other negatively as they do now. Creating the right landscaping using vegetation as the key route guide will provide the appropriate natural transition in the ecosystem from our site to the lake which will naturally clean the lake from excess nutrients and will require less manpower to maintain. Our conclusion for the site is to consider the interest of the parties we determined as crucial for the improvement of safety and reactivation of the area, these being: -The neighbours: looking for more recreation spaces, better maintenance of the park, bringing customers to the businesses happening there -Ecologists: bringing more diversity and greenery to the park, create a more attractive environment, build an ecosystem -Prostitution: protect the women, provide safe work conditions while isolating them from kids and local residents -Private traffic: respond to the demands of the city, schedule times

Displaced Border.Line

Typology: Territorial project ( Residential & factory The premise of this design was creating a home for the displaced children and that home should be a space that allowed them to have the building blocks for them to be able to take their own steps in their future and integrate them into society. Taking into consideration that more than 70% of the Mena children are between the ages of 15 and 18 this meant that they are a few weeks from being released into the vicious workforce and they are treated as adults while they themselves have never tasted the sense of childhood What my project aims to do is allow their suffering journey become their superpower for the future because with that journey one can allow it to hurt them or allow that to be the force that grows them. The concept was to create a space that would build up their mind and also build up their skills and allow them to take on a hobby which is a constant need in society. This building was based on the power of synthesis of the people and the society around them. SanBlas has lack of transport and lack of jobs, it has become the city out of the city. The border edges that go around each district in sandblast become a no Man zone. My focus; Amposta simancas border; Parque el paradise The park is constantly occupied by druggies and each district lived in there own little bubble.

The Intertwining

Typology: Territorial project ( Residential & factory Approaching this project it was vital to take into consideration the location. Lavapies is a neighbourhood that thrives with its diversity in cultures. Therefore, a reception in such a fascinating area must continue to bring people together further develop the intertwining that occurs between the diverse cultures present and the visitors who arrive to witness this social phenomenon. Hence, I wanted to create a somewhat alien space that would seem so odd to the locals as well as the visitors that it creates a new intertwined culture on its own. The intertwining reception is split into 2 parts, Public and privately public. A thinking box is situated on the second floor which allows the interaction between locals and tourists, hence as it is in the reception area it becomes a threshold of becoming privately public. Other parts that are present n the exterior of the structure are the general services such as bathrooms and seating areas, bicycle racks etc. this consequently allows the phenomenon of the structure providing the services hence allowing the new intertwined culture of the plaza to grow organically, much like the structure.

Bombolla Freixenet Stadium In Collaboration with Paula and Marina Sanchez Award : 2020 Best proposal (Internal university Competition) chosen as the top of 8 proposals as the most innovative design solution

Typology: Mixed Use Stadium

This project was part of a three-week workshop with firect focus in Revit , Dynamo, and parametric modeling through Grasshopper. In this project we were assigned to design a flexible staduim for Barcelona Team with the ability to host a vast amount of programs from basketball, tennnis and concerts in a limit of 50,000m2. Very persiese programtic organization was needed to create a new staduim that fit our sponsers freixenet mission and vision and still be profitble. We were required to provide a profitability study and full structurral design as well as a retractble roof and facade design. The new skills acquired and the parametrization of the design process, facilitated the development of new concept of how a stadium can serve the community around by providing public space and workshop areas in the staduim that . For the form of this stadium it was key to keep in mind the brand identity ( hence the buble shape , la bombulla) and follow the enviromental needs , hence paramatrically the shape is determined by sun maximization. video https://youtu.be/DUo3gd1QgfA 61

Work Experience

In The Rotract Club of Segovia, I was a member for 3 years and been personally involved in more than 10 charity events. One of my earliest and most impactful design opportunities is in the ANEJA school in Segovia where I was asked to personally design a full playground for children to enjoy as well as create a large school sign that is still in the school gates today. This required one to coordinate the quantity of paint and how members of “Segovia Association of People with Mental Illness”, Family and students, can work together to complete the painting event.

Santiago Cirugeda, founder of Recetas Urbanas. I gave me an amazing experience with the invitation of Recetas Urbanas, our class was able to participate in building a technology class for a school in Madrid. We were able not only to socialize with people working for the company, but also experience a direct relationship with students of that school that were part of the building team as well. It was great to help in the construction for such a unique project that helps to solve social conflicts.
