Ground Floor Plan
Multifacility Hub Location- Dhanukarwadi, Kandivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Brief- Mumbai has a linear growth corridor. all the stationson the western and central line are along the main roads which act as the main arteries of the city along with highways. all the stations are at a close proximity of the main roads. the studio objectives are to explore the ideation of an architectural intervention of different uses and identifying the uses of appropriate form foa the given function in the background of dense urban area of proposed metro station. Semester- 5 /2016 Mentor - Ar. Smit Goghari
The functions have been zoned in a way to respect the site and the context. Pocket recreational spaces have been created around the structres and inside as a part of interactive spaces. The sloping roof highlights the design, which is in contrast to the existing buildings around. Also keeping in mind the heavy rainfall in mumbai sloping roofs are a vvery convinient option which is not usually used in its architecture today.

Site Plan
Brief-A design solution essentially with a deeper understanding of heritage potential and optimum usage of spaces for a growing small town with daily conflicts between the spaces trapped and identities lost; with obscure interfaces and diminishing characters, involving study of growing population due to migration, the need for availability of sources of income or employement, the interconnectivity and infrastructure of a city.

Design Overview
East Elevation
The rich heritage and the beautiful charbaug landscape system is the key element that has been tried to incorporated in the design. The central courtard in the design becomes a common point giving access to all sides of the site, especially the central plaza with a beautiful designed landscape and the already existing phoolbaug, through which a person gets to enter the palki mahal.

Landscape Design The whole design is very organic and radial creating a focus in the center where an observatory deck has been created which gives a view to the whole site, below the deck is a semi open exhibition space. Basically the main focus was to create one such focal element which in return increases the appreciation of the site.
Landscape Design Brief-Orchha a religious town has been long identified for its historical temples, Raja Ram Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple. Both the temples are connected via a common public place/plaza which becomes the central point for public activities and gatherings. The Plaza is connected by streets to the state highway and the public parking area with few streets leading to the internal town roads. This landscape intervention aimed at making optimum utilisation of the plaza for the locals as well as creating an acctraction for the tourists Semester- 6 /2016 Mentor - Ar. Smit Goghari
Brief-To design landscape on a site of a sales office and sample flat, giving a gist of the landscape of the upcoming project. Semester- 5 /2016 Mentor - Ar. Gargi Karve
Design Overview Landscape plays a very important role in any built form. It can make a simple box like structure stand out. In this design landscape for a sales office and smaple flat has been designed, to give an overview of the overall look of the upcoming project. This particular design has a very angular planning, with a lot of emphasis on the water bodies at every important junction, and each water body is of different kind. The main design principles used are Angular, and the objectives that have been tried to be achieved are welcoming, visual connect and focus.
