the firm The firm was established in 1993,fronted by Ar.Kamarul Bahrin and Mohd Zamhuri Amin. To date the firm has won 4 awards from the Malaysian Instituite of Architects (PAM).From the early start of the practice, the firm directions has been towards developing passive design approach to integrate the external environment within or be part of the building. Integrating climatic issues and user requirement in the design is evident in the design philosophy of the firm. The built forms integrates or fit-in into the site and be part of it.

Project: Puteri Harbour Satellite Clubhouse & Sales Gallery at Mukim Pulai Bandar Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. Introduction: The intention of this development is to provide an area where Puteri Harbour can literally be exposed to the world. It wil becomes an overall view of the site and the ‘feel’ of what and how Puteri Harbour is envisioned to be, based on its branding and positioning. The Satellite Clubhouse is design to cater to a myriad market including international parties.
Development concept: Propose for Modern Contemporary Architecture which is also environmentally sensitive and equipped with modern technology. Architecture, interiors and landscaping of the sale gallery embraces openness of space and light, blending with fluidity of green and water. Building to be fronting the lagoon / marina. Designed with luxurious outlook and located at a very strategic, visible and conducive environment.

The Satellite Clubhouse & Sales Gallery is the first building erected after the marina & promenade. This elegance building as an architectural statement will become a reference for other building to be design and built within the area . The satellite Clubhouse will become part of the future exhibition and conference centre.

Structures and design features: Steel frame with bondex floor type. Infill light-weight block wall (CSR bricks) for internal and external. Tempered glazing panel at promenade front of the building. Tensile membrane design and aluminum louvers act as sun shading devices which block evening sun from penetrate into an interior therefor increase energy saving on cooling system. Overhang at first floor allow user to have relaxing area while enjoying magnificent view through the harbor. Timber for external decking and cladding.
