SKINICIAN VISION

Partnered with my mum Hilary, we founded SKINICIAN as a way to cut through the noise and confusion of the skincare world, offering multi-tasking products that target a number of skin concerns.

Each one has a concentrated yet perfectly balanced blend of actives that deliver results without upsetting the skin’s protective barrier. After all, your skin is delicate and vulnerable, sensitive to our stress-levels, sleep quality and hormonal changes, as well as having to cope with an onslaught of sunlight and pollution on a daily basis.

Once you throw in a lot of strong skincare formulas into the mix, you’ve got a recipe for irritation and sensitivity, which affects 70% of women during our lifetime.

SKINICIAN MISSION

As former salon owners, we found ourselves facing challenges that many salons do – stocking big-name brands with extensive and over-complicated ranges that weren’t compatible with our clients’ busy lifestyles.

We were also startled at how so many people were treating their skin issues by using several harsh products at once (and paying a pretty penny in the process). When in fact, there is a much more kind and gentle – not to mention simple –alternative.

Bringing together the finest experts in the skincare industry –from cosmeceutical chemists, to formulators and manufacturers – we realised people could achieve happy, healthy skin without having to spend a fortune or risk irritation. And that fewer, multi-tasking products and better education around skincare were all that was needed. After all, why should great skincare be for a privileged few?

Every product in the SKINICIAN range stars a nourishing cocktail of actives, 90% of which are naturally derived. These are then harnessed in the lab and channeled into hybrid cosmeceutical formulas to target various different issues at once.

Our Ageless Peptide Eye Complex, Ageless Overnight Retinol Powerbalm, Advanced Firming Serum and Advanced Pro Radiance Enzyme Cleanser are just a few of our ‘hero’ products that treat the skin on a number of levels. As well as multi-tasking skincare staples, we also have a range of Treatment routines to tackle more serious concerns, such as acne, sensitivity or dry skin.

All the products in these ranges were created to work harmoniously together, to bring the results you want in the shortest amount of time, whilst being gentle on the skin.

When it comes to great skincare, we’ve adopted an educational approach that goes beyond our product offering. Driven by the professionals we work with, we want customers to feel empowered to understand their skin better so they know exactly how to treat and take care of it. All of our products are used and trusted by professional therapists to deliver real results. So our ethos is simple: with the right knowledge and a simplified regime, you have a recipe for healthy, happy skin!

At SKINICIAN we care about the planet and are doing our best to help make the beauty world more eco-friendly.

Our formulas are free from the usual questionable ingredients (parabens, mineral oil, sulphates and palm oil) and our we are vegan, cruelty-free and PETA-approved.

What’s more, all of our products are made in the UK to minimise carbon footprint, and we strive to work with sustainable suppliers who are involved in many eco-friendly initiatives themselves. Our cartons are FSC certified.
