You said it refers to the Foundation Stone: How can that be? The Foundation Stone existed even before the creation of the world. From this Stone the world was planted. And you say that "which I have set" means that Ya'akov has just set it, and it is written: "And he took the stone that he had put under his head."
PORTION OF JACOB
While God is against Iraq/Babylon’s idols he states the portion of Jacob is not like them. Jer.51 17-19. Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. Is it possible that God himself created an idol that would defeat and destroy all the idols of mankind? Isaiah spoke of a sign; We can only see it when we turn a map upside down. It is an image which God calls the Face of Jacob. Isaiah 29;11 said Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as potters clay; for shall the work say of him who made it he made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him who made it he had no understanding? When we obey the words in the book of Isaiah and turn things upside down we see that Zion can be seen from a photograph as a side profile of a mans face. The context of the message is that we were told from the beginning This face lays on the shetiyah stone (discussed and the introduction and in Isaiah 28) According to the Zohar the stone had three circles under it. The third circle which connected to 365 rivers of the world was called the circle of the earth.
