1 QM. WAR SCROLL TRIBES RETURN About The Cover

Carved on a rock about six stories high, Darius recorded his conquest of the Ten Tribes. Ten men are seen in the picture. Nine standing, and one laying down with the foot of Darius on his neck, indicating subjection. The Israelites did call themselves the House of Issac or ISAAKA‌. After the fall of the Assyrian capital Nineveh in 612 BC, the main body of Scythian Israelites came under such pressure from the Medes that they were forced northwards through the Dariel Pass in the Caucasus mountains and into the steppe region of southern Russia. After going through the Caucasus mountains, they became known as Caucasians. Perhaps this is why Rabbis say Christians will be allowed to return as part of the Tribes of Israel. This series of books, will endeavor to describe the war they will be returning to fight.

Isa 13:9-11 KJV 9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

IS ASSAD THE LION OF THE JORDEN?

Scriptures speak of a lion that will rise from the Jordan and attack Jerusalem. Is this Assad? Syria has attacked by going down the Jordan in 1948, 1967, and 1971.Will they do this again?

5

Both Jeremiah 49 and Joel 1 and 2 speak of a Lion that will gather grapes . Jeremiah 49 Asks , who shall appoint me a time? This is a riddle...Joel indicates it will be with a solar eclipse. Is this time is March 20, 2015? Olives, figs, and grapes say March The map at the above, shows the Syria attack on Israel in 1967. The troops went down the Jordan River, where grapes, olives and figs are grown. ASSAD MEANS ‘LION’ Assad- whose name means ‘Lion’, may qualify for a number of Bible passages. Jeremiah 49: 7 Concerning Edom, ...9 If grape gatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves by night, they will 6

destroy till they have enough.10 But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places,...and he is not...., O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from hence, saith the LORD…19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: ...and who will appoint me a time. It is interesting to note that if Assad is the ‘ lion from the swelling of Jordan’ there is only one day which he may attack. It is March 20/21, 2015. This is because the time appointed is a Solar Eclipse and the only date that fulfills the additional Biblical requirements is this date. This will be first day of the Spring in a year of revision; a sabbatical year. The 1 QM War Scroll appears to be discussing that very date. Col.11 and the officers of his chariots in the Red Sea. You will ignite the humble of spirit like a fiery torch of fire in a sheaf, consuming the wicked. You shall not turn back until the annihilation of the guilty. In past You foretold [the app]ointed time for Your hand is powerful work against the Kittim, saying: And Assyria shall fall by a sword not of man, and a sword, Col. 4 On the trumpets for assembling the infantry when the gates of war open that they might go out against the battle line of the enemy, they shall write, "A remembrance of requital at the appointed time of God." On the trumpets of the slain they shall write, "The hand of the might of God in battle so as to bring down all the slain because of unfaithfulness." On the trumpets of ambush they shall write, "Mysteries of God to wipe out wickedness." On the trumpets of pursuit they shall write, "God has struck all Sons of Darkness, He shall not abate His anger until they are annihilated." Col. When they draw near for battle they shall write on their banners, "The right hand of God," "The appointed time of God," "The tumult of God," "The slain of God"; after these their names in full.

7

When they return from battle they shall write on their banners, "The exaltation of God," "The greatness of God," "The praise of God," "The glory of God," with their names in full. Astral knowledge and the authority of the general in GrecoRoman military manuals: analogies to the role of the maskil in the DSS Yonder Moynihan Gillihan (Polybius, Hist. 9.14.12) . M. Hengel, "Qumran and Hellenism," in Religion in the Dead Sea Scrolls, ed. J. Collins and R. Kugler, 48, repeating an argument made in idem, "Qumran und der Hellenismus," in Qumrân‌y. I will argue that the role of the maskil as leader and instructor of the yah9ad is analogous to the role of the pagan general. Both leaders grounded their authority within systems of 5

natural law or creation theology In these systems, both the instructors and the instructed presupposed that 1) the divine will or rationality that ordered the cosmos also established an order of justice by which human societies must be arranged; 2) the divinity sanctions war efforts only in the cause of justice, and without divine sanction, war efforts are doomed. 3) In a situation of conflict, an instructor acquires authority by demonstrating that his leadership has divine sanction. Such demonstration takes similar forms in the DSS and the pagan military manuals: first, in public observations of astral phenomena, with the general or maskil interpreting the movements of the heavenly bodies for the assembled followers. His interpretation proves that he has intimate knowledge of the divine order, and warrants his leadership against opponents during a time of dangerous conflict. Second, the strategos and the maskil aimed to gain decisive advantage over their enemies by engaging in battle only at the appointed time (e.g., 1QS 10.19-20), arriving neither too early nor too late. The general and the maskil both calculated time in preparation for battle by the movements of the heavenly bodies. There are important differences between the units of time and the methods of measurement-the general calculated hours and minutes, while the maskil reckoned prophetic periods of jubilees and years-- nevertheless there are sufficient similarities to warrant comparison. Yadin, Hengel, and Duhaime have argued that one sectarian text of the yah9ad was influenced 8

by military manuals. I would like to explore the possibility that the 5 instructional "Natural law" is a term typically used for the Stoic and Platonic philosophy underlying much of the ancient military literature and "creation theology" tends to be applied to a group of ideas in Jewish wisdom theology. In this essay I will show that the "creation theology" of the yah9ad assumed certain principles that were virtually identical to the "natural law" systems found in the pagan texts. For discussion of the similarities between the systems of thought, see Hengel, "Qumran and Hellenism," 51-55. 2 practices of the yah9ad , especially those by which the maskil established his authority to lead, may also have been influenced by military culture. Obviously, public interpretation of celestial phenomena for the purpose of gaining authority was not practiced only in military settings: non-military priests, astrologers, and philosophers also gave such demonstrations for such purposes. However, military aspects of the yahad , such as its profound interest in an eschatological war a (1QM; cp. 1QS 1.20-21); its idealized arrangement of its members into segments of 1000's, 100's, 50's, and 10's,military/legal configuration found 6

in the Torah, historical books, and Maccabean literature; its emphasis on a strictly regulated, hierarchical common life, in one segment of which men apparently lived together in geographical separation from the rest of the community, taking meals together and sharing property; and its strategic refusal to engage in conflict with its enemies "before the appointed time" suggest that aspects of the self-definition of the yah9ad were militaristic, or influenced by military culture. Whether the yahad 's militaristic self-definition went beyond the symbolic is an issue beyond the scope of this investigation. I wish only to explore the possibility that analogies between the role of astral knowledge in establishing instructional authority in the DSS and military texts will shed further light on the texts and practices of the yahad.

WHEN? Next searching scriptures that speak of a lion stealing grapes or wine we proceed, while looking for clues to indicate a specific time. Following the Lion, grape, wine, theme we discover an eclipse. TIMING-LIMIT-ABOUT 8 YEARS?

9

Assad’s Sons  Hafez al-Assad. Born on 3 December 2001,  Karim Born on 16 December 2004. THE THEORY If Bible prophecies that speak of a lion attacking Israel actually do apply to Assad. Then ( in that case) they must take place within the next 8 years or so. Why? At that time his 2 prince sons both have reach 20. They will qualify for the military and be full groan lions, rather than cubs or young lions. IS ASSAD THE LION OF THE JORDEN? Jeremiah 49: 7 Concerning Edom ...9 If grape gatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves by night, from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: …and who will appoint me the time? The fact that the grapes can harvest in March in modern times, is key to understanding that Isaiah is speaking of a future destruction of Damascus, and a future war in Israel. They are container-grown or bare-root vines have strange shoots, to make the plant grow in spring. Because of its strange slips or shoots that can be easily fooled, into believing it is harvest time. The strange slips of the grapes have a spring harvest. By putting the shoots or slips in the freezer for 10 weeks they are tricked into thinking it is time to produce fruit. These plants line the fertile plain of the Jordan River. They are to be put of storage to grow on the Spring equinox; which is the date for the war. While speaking of a war that begins as the kingdom in Damascus falls, Isaiah said. (Isa 17 10-11) you plant pleasant plants, and shall set it with strange slips: In the day shall you make your plant to grow… Syria has attacked Israel by going down the Jordan in 1948, 1967, and 1971. Will Assad do this? If so, do the grapes help appoint a time? We can say for certain that the time is future. .. in the March future.

10

After taking the “kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.” This clearly has not happened yet. Next we add the words of; Joel 1&2 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth. For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion, He hath laid my vine waste. Next Joel ads a time determining factor; The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. This speaks of a Solar Eclipse. So we need a Solar eclipse in March, while Assad’s sons are still young princes or cubs, right? The War Scroll is addressed to those, “hearing deep things. [O God, You have created] the expanse of the skies, the host of luminaries, the task of spirits and the dominion of holy ones, the treasures of [Your] gl[ory . . . ] clouds.” Celestially the Vision of Jacob shows what will happen to the stone on earth. Celestially the star in the forehead of the Chief will descend. In Jacob’s Vision we see the Chief as Jacob and on the earth as the microprosophus more properly called Jacob so it is a star out of Jacob to descend on Moab. That is it will descend to the point of Gilgal , which corresponds to the star Mira in heaven. Pyramid sign. Mamonides stated this means “Go up to heaven or goes down to the depths of the pit to pull up a dead person. This is seen in the Vision of Jacob. (see article · 12But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. 13And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. Virgo hold two branches before the child Coma meaning the desired son. Scripture speaks of the righteous branch and the abominable branch , Israel must learn to choose the Good or Evil branch, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. 1. Rezin from those days 11

2. Assad from our days? We continue with the study now suspecting Assad to play the part of the Bee of Assyria and fill in his name adding and or to the leader of Iraq in this study. 17 The

LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria….A future time when the tribe return with a Bee of Assyrian territory attacking...Assad. ? 18 And

it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria… term for Assad, and company, as he will destroy much of Israel? · Syria was part of the land of Assyria 19 And

they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes...the troops of Syria. And company He and his troops go down the Jordan valley at night. 20 In

the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard ...This is the future King of Assyria for ennecarib went home instead of invading. Syria shall invade Jerusalem. 21 And

it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep…Daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift. They are destroyed by roaring waves, 22 And

it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give ...i.e. he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land….this is also the theme of the Isa 7 but and honey shall he eat. The original text had no he in it,...It is not the messiah but we that shall eat milk and honey. 23 And

it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns...Syrian army and company crushed the vines and ate the grapes. In the Jordan valley grapes are grown. 24 With

12

arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land

shall become briers and thorns…The term arrows means missiles as well 25 And

on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle...Syria’s army and company will roll over the crops, because (or because of this) all the land shall become briers and thorns. · Here the fact that it will be a Sabbatical year is inferred · Next we compare Isa 37 it tell us that this is a sign. Isaiah 37 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap This is a rolling prophecy Isaiah asks about Kings. God addresses Sennecarib first then a future king from Assyria to attack . In this scene we locate the first day of the Sabbatical year that is prior to the year of Jubilee comes to focus and it is called a sign, A sign is given to speak of it being a Jubilee year vs. 30 ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow. Isaiah 17 tells us the King of Syria is the future grape gatherer that will attack Jerusalem when Damascus falls. Isaiah 7:4 For thus hath the Lord spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey...Assad and one of his sons? when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, or the noise of them:  This is the army of the tribes. “When the Assyrian comes, we will have seven shepherds and eight princes of men.”so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof”.  Because of this…5 As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.6 Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.7 For in that day  The future…every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin 8 13

Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he the Lion i.e. Assad( shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.  Assad’s two sons? 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes (Assad two sons)shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. They will be afraid of the rock. After Assad takes his spoil he leaves. Then his sons continue to search the tunnels. 1. In this scene Assad or the King or the King /leader of Iraqi might be called the King…leader of the Assyrians 2. When Sennecarib conquered Syria he moved the Syrians to Canaan and repopulated Syria with Assyrians or people of Asshur. 3. It follows that the Assyrian to fall, here might men the people following Assad, or the King of Iraq now accepting that title. 4. Since Iraq is referred to in these scenes as Babylon and land of Chaldea he does not seem to hold claim to this title. And Assad as the King of Syria. Nor does he have the military power to be the ‘bee in Assyria’. Once every 7 year there is a sabbatical year in Israel. Once every 50 years there was a Jubilee year. Making 2 sabbatical years in a row in Israel. The sabbatical year is also called a year of remission. Col. 1 of the War Scroll describes a war to be fought during a year of remission. So it a sabbatical year. TIMING DISCUSSED The War Scroll emphasizes the appointed time even in their banners for going out to war. And this is a main theme. Could it be this appointed time will become obvious as the tribes return to fight it. And could that be because there will be two sabbatical years immediately following this war. Scripture says that during a Jubilee for the seventh and eighth year they shall not plant. 14

"And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of the old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in you shall eat of the old store" (Lev. 25:20-22). After the 10 tribes were taken by Assyria, King Ahaz felt Israel might be up for grabs at that moment also. But Isaiah told him not to worry about that. Then Isaiah foretold a time in the future when the tribes would return to fight a war with, ‘Even the King of Assyria.’ And that day will also be the first day of the sabbatical year before the Jubilee year. 12But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.  Virgo holds two branches before the child Coma, meaning the desired son.  This indicates it is a sabbatical year before the Jubilee as we discussed above; “ during a Jubilee for the seventh and eight year they shall not plant”. "And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. Isa.7: 17 The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria…Assad and company?  term for Assad and company (this does not fit Iraq Iraq), as Assad leads the attack on Jerusalem and the Golan heights will destroy much of Israel?  Syria was part of the land of Assyria and inherited their people 19 And

The original text had no he in it,...It is not the Messiah but Israel that shall ‘eat milk and honey’. The crops are greatly destroyed and they will instead have goats and cows. 23 And

it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall 17

even be for briers and thorns...Syrian army crushed the vines and ate the grapes. In the Jordan valley grapes are grown. 24 With

arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns‌The term arrows means missiles shall become briers and thorns. This is why it will be easy for Israel to obey the Sabbatical ,and Jubilee year. Picture this; the land is destroyed from the war. But the new growth is still there squished and ready for cattle and sheep. Israel will have so many cows, goats and sheep they will need a place to put them and the damaged land will be just fine.

Isa. 30:27. Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:28. And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

Above Red Dot: The Name of the Lord is on a rock in Jerusalem and will descent to the Pit.(the below red dot. The attack discussed is upon Jerusalem where the children of Esau hold the Dome of the Rock. Our rock is not their rock, Moses said describing this war as the war where ‘one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight’, it is a supernatural war. Deuteronomy 32 King James Version (KJV)

19

32 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: 3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. 5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. 6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? 7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. 8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. 9 For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. 11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; 14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape. 15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. 17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. 19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. 20

he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. 21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. 22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. 23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them. 24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. 25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs. 26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men: 27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this. 28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. 29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! 30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? 31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. 32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: 33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps. 34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures? 35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. 36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. 37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, 21

38 Which

did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. 39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. 40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever. 41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. 42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. 43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. 52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel. The name is on a rock called the foundation stone. Matthew was quoting from a prophecy in Isaiah 7: 13-16 . • Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. • Matthew believe Jesus, born of a virgin, to be the fulfillment of this prophecy • Matt 1v23 • The Jewish commentary explains the name Immanuel in the Isaiah text to mean • Immanuel –lit. God is with us. That is to say our Rock shall be with us, and this is the sign.

The cornerstone is also the rock Isa.7:13-16 This refers to the coming Messiah. Christians believe this is Y’shua/Jesus . Jews suggest it is the rock. In this study we will see the rock as a sign of the virgin that will conceive. Here the virgin Jerusalem becomes a present tense sign, of the virgin in the future that will give birth to the Messiah.

WAR PREDICTED FOR ISRAEL Also see Theosophical Dictionary Isaiah’s prophecy depicts a future time when Assyria and Egypt would come in to play again on the world stage. In the future or “days that have not come” people will look to the Lord of hosts as “a stone of stumbling or a rock of offence: Isa. 7:17-18. The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. As a confederacy, prepares to come against Israel. Council is to be taken concerning the Lord of Hosts as a stone of stumbling… Isa. 8:13-15 The Lord of hosts, Him shall you hallow. Let him be your fear let him be your dread. He will be as a sanctuary. But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both of the houses of Israel. As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble. They shall fall and be broken be snared and taken. Isa. 9:6-7. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.” Isa. 9:10-18 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.. Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him 23

be your dread. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken…. thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone of sure foundation: he that believeth on him, shall not be in haste. What is the message? The Theological Dictionary states: There are 70 ancient manuscripts that read this way, however, the Masoric text reads differently. It does not contain the words "in him”. The Jews accept the Masoric interpretation, while Christians do not. The text infers we must honor the lord of hosts as a rock of offence. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. The subject of the stone continues relating it to a child to be born. BABYLON-Jeremiah Declare among the nations, Bel is confounded…the portion of Jacob is not like them he is my battle axe. JER.51:10.“The Lord hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.” Proposition: Jeremiah speaks about a request to “ let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord”, in connection to the present events. This work is called the “face of Jacob ” in Isa.29 Isaiah spoke of a sign; We can only see it when we turn a map upside down. It is an image which, he refers to as “the work “and it is “in Zion” . ISAIAH 29,11 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as potters clay; for shall the work say of him who made it he made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him who made it he had no understanding?

The Face and the Holy One

 22-23

Therefore thus saith the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

 But

when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

Congruencies between Jerusalem and Babylon -. The hand the sea the face and the name (Messianic Idea, 121-3). • 4 The destruction of the Temple thus shattered the unity of YHWH and dispersed the collectivity of Israel only in order to weave together the unity of all the Nations in His Name

YHVH was the soul BODY of The MESSIAH God placed his name upon the rock. Scripture links the name to the Holy One, This name was said to be the soul body of the Messiah - The Holy One. The Zohar uses the literal translation of genesis to tell the story. 25

Zohar Vol. pg 68And God said Let there be light; and there was light. From this point we can begin to discover hidden things relating to the creation of the world in detail… Zohar Vol. pg69. Hence “and God said: opens means the above mentioned palace generated from the holy seed which was pregnant While it brought forth in silence…it became the voice which was heard, to wit, “Let there be light.” Whatever was issued came forth under this category. The word “Yehi” (let there be ) indicates the union of the Father and the Mother… light; and there was light. These words indicate there had already been light. This word “aur” (light) contains in itself a hidden significance. ..the secret supernal either opened a path primordial point. The expansive force proceeded from the hidden recesses of the secret supernal ether opened a path and produced from itself a mysterious point…Yod Zohar Vol. Pg 70 This dot of the word awr is light…Afterwards darkness issued… “Let there be light.” to wit El Gadol (great god) that which emerged was from primordial ether. Who Else agrees - John 11 in the beginning was the word…made flesh…he was the light Next we should take a look at the words of the Apostle Paul as he goes through Isa. Point by point , commenting about the stone, in the Book of Romans Paul- the seed in the rock-. The stone of Stumbling. 30 What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; 31 but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. 32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 as it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” This must occur literally. 1. Adam was made from dust on Mount Zion, which was on the Temple mount and thus part of the image itself. 2. Adam sinned and lost to the serpent Jacob regained the image for himself Another way of explaining this wonderful truth is the after Adam sinned he was naked and ashamed. In order that mankind might learn of the Holy One and 26

the seed in the Root of Jesse. Isaiah said, “ Jacob is not ashamed”.

The Zohar • Here we receive a hint of a great controversy of the union of God and the Jerusalem who was to be his virgin bride. There is a unique combination of various particulars God placed the seed of mankind within. Here a very personal perspective is given. Suggestions include a splendid selection of graphics in a story book setting.

But when his children see the work of my hands in the midst of them they shall sanctify the Holy One of Israel.

THE ANTICHRIST The Hebrew word for face is “Peniel” . It means “ the face of God”. · This word also means; “To appear at eventide” and “ fear the forefront of the face.” In the forefront of the face the land forms a picture of a male member. Here we will soon see how God gave honor to the least comely parts. The seed of the Holy One is in the rock. The Hebrew word for rock is aben it means father and son. The Holy one is like the seed of the testicle.

THE STONE A SIGN OF NOAH God gave Noah a covenant after the flood that he would not again destroy the earth by flood. This covenant was related to the stone. The flood was caused not only from rain but also from the fountains of the deep. This fount is mentioned in the Genesis account. “God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged; the fountains also of the deep and windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven were strained. THE FOUNT AND THE STONE The Midrash gives us more information. It states: King David did some digging on to prepare the Mount for the Temple. He found a stone with some markings on it. He was concerned that someone had been on this Ground before and perhaps defiled it. God told him the stone was known by Noah it held down the fount of the earth. This was the fount that flooded the earth in the days of Noah. That is to say water from the flood of Noah came partly from rain above and also from the fount of the abyss below this stone. The Rock-THE SIGN OF HIS COMING? Kronos-Hesiod linked the term with “ Chronos” meaning time. Here the microprosophus, was an example of Father Time eating all his own children. Myths were a way to tell truth The face would eat all mankind. This is technically true according to Hebrew tradition, for after death says the Zohar -the souls of all men return back to the tunnels of Jerusalem, as thought they are eaten by the face.

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH When Jesus was asked what would be the time of his coming and of the end of the age he mentioned rock as he mentioned Noah. Matthew 24:37-39. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Many have wondered how eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage could be the sign of any age being that men must always eat and drink and give in marriage. However if Jesus was referring to the stone when he said these words new meaning can be applied. eating and drinking …The stone is positioned within the mouth of the face of the Microprosophus… Cronos ate the stone. marrying and giving in marriage…The stone is positioned within the clay earth in the form of male member in relation to the female. Here we recall the words of Paul “Christ is the head…God has given honor to the least comely parts” “Kronos” Ate the foundation stone. “Kronos devours his offspring. And believing that this fateful news could be averted, he started to swallow his offspring at birth. But once the procedure had been repeated several times, her wife … feeling for her children as Gaia for her own, deceived her husband by wrapping a stone in clothes and giving it to him to swallow, as if it were the newborn child Zeus.” Gaia for her own, deceived her husband by wrapping a stone…. Gaia means Earth gave a stone representing Zues (Life and Savior) Jesus. Hezus (In him was life) According to 31

one account: He spit it up and it became the Milky Way… That is to say Jesus would be raise to the heavens.

Isaiah 29 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as potters clay ; for shall the work say of him who made it he made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him who made it he had no understanding A photo of Zion upside shows profile of a mans face Isaiah refers to the face as the face of Jacob. “concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face wax pale

1 Eating + Drinking The Temple is located in the mouth of the Microprsophus i.e. The face of Jacob All the food and drink offerings are given in type to the face. The alter had horns of ivory which were to represent teeth of the image. The laver represented the water, like unto saliva. The porch was call “ulam” meaning “the tongue” The Temple incense alter had four horns and according to the Midrash represented the larynx.(When a person speaks loudly blood is placed on the larynx). The high Priest would speak loudly on Yom Kipper saying the name of God. He would sprinkle the blood on the incense alter (representing the larynx). The Holy of Holies was called the oracle- representing the back portion of the tongue. 2. Giving in marriage. Zohar--And God said, “Let there be light”. From this point we begin to discover the hidden things relating to the creation of the world in 32

detail….When …energy had been extended from the supernal palace alluded to in the supernal name Eloihim, the term saying is used in connection to it in the words… “and God said”, means that the above palace generated from the holy seed with which it was pregnant. THE WORD John spoke of Jesus as the word: In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God He was speaking of Y’Shua or Yehoshua This relates to the WORD YHVH placed on the rock by of offence by God Q. Is there a rock? A. YES. It is the cornerstone for the Earth

Job- The Foundation Stone "Where wast thou, when I laid the foundation of the earth? Declare, since thou hast such knowledge! Who fixed its dimensions, since thou knowest? Or who stretched out the line upon it? Upon what were its foundations fixed? And who laid its corner-stone, When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?"

The Jewish Talmud also tells us about this stone in Zion- Jerusalem on the Temple Mount (Zion). A stone Shethia. We learned in a Boratha: The word Shethia means, that the universe has been created from it as Shethia means foundation. This is according to him who says that from Zion the world began to be created. The Holy One, blessed be He, threw a stone into the sea, and there from. As it is written;“ Upon what are her foundation -pillars placed at rest? Or who threw her a corner -stone. O.K. then Jesus is the cornerstone, so he must be “THE WORD” 33

right? - IN THE BEGINNING WAS “THE WORD” In the following discussion let us begin to analyze the term Holy One and see how it is THE WORD on THE ROCK which is the soul body of the Messiah and will prove to be Y’shuah or Yehosha (The one we’ve called Jesus). WELL OF THE SOULS The Dome of the Rock holds a stone that the Muslims have believed to be the foundation stone. A legend they tell state that when the Earth was created God placed all the souls of mankind in the well beneath the stone and when the well would become empty the Earth would be over. But according to the Jews this is not the rock it is somewhere else. Deuteronomy 32 seems to agree saying; “Our rock is not their rock.”

YHVH- VERTICAL • By placing the four letters of the Tetragrammaton,YHVH, in a vertical column, a figure closely resembling the human body is produced: Yod the head, the first He the arms and shoulders, Vau the torso of the body, and the final He the hips and legs. This is the Divine Name as Adam Qadmon.

WORD is the LORD Whenever we see the word Lord in the bible it is the name of God YHVH. Placing the Letters vertically there is the image of a man. But how exactly does this relate to the rock and Y’shua?

34

M. MACGREGOR MATHERSd: • “It is the Quaternary in Nature, the four letters of the Holy Name, I.H.V.H., the Tetragrammaton, Jehovah, which with the addition of the letter of the Holy Spirit, Shin, becomes Yeheshuah, or Y’shua the Name of the Messiah.”

Kabbalah Christian perspective: Kabbalah Christians have seen the name to be representative of Jesus whose true name was Y’shua or Yehoshuah. (Y’shua is the shortened form of the name like the name Rich and Richard). Scripture tells us the YHVH is the Holy One i.e. the Messiah For so says the Lord YHVH, the Holy One of Israel,( Isa 30:15) - "For I am YHVH your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; (Isa 43:3) And the nations shall know that I am YHVH, the Holy One in Israel. (Eze 39:7) 2. Concerning the Christian perspective- the one who the gentiles seek is Y’shu / Jesus who said “I come in my Father’s name.” This agrees with the New Testament: Matthew 23:39 "For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'" Mark 11:9 Those who went in front and those who followed were shouting: "Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Luke 13:35 "Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'" Luke 19:38 shouting: "BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN 35

THE NAME OF THE LORD; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" John 12:13 took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, "Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel The words of the Apostle Paul Part 1.The study of this rock leads to its geography of the location.- I Cor. 12. The Apostle Paul discusses it saying that “Christ is the head…and God has given honor to the least comely parts” In the Book of Romans, Paul discusses the seed and the stone in depth. According to Paul’s interpretation of Isa. it is only because of this seed in this stone that Israel will not be like Sodom and Gomorrah. As we read Paul’s words we realize he is quoting from the same parts in Isaiah that we have been discussing we begin to see what he is talking about. By lining the subject up line upon line precept upon precept we can see that Paul is speaking of these same subjects we’ve discussed in Isa. 29. Afterwards we will examine the similarities of Paul’s text at in other ancient documents. PAUL’S WORDS UNDERSTOOD Paul quoting Isa lets us know that this seed will save Israel. ROMANS 27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, 28 for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” 29 And as Isaiah predicted, “If the Lord of hosts had not left us seed, we would have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah.” This seed is the seed that will save Israel it is part of the root of Jesse which will gather the Tribes of Israel to return. As bee of Assyria threatens to attack Judah, the tribes of Israel will return. To begin with this we must begin to discuss body parts All over the world the story of body parts-creation. Astronomy and anatomy, Temple and man. Acted out in Ceremony, and in relationship to the heavenly testimony. 36

What is the Name-Shin The Knesset has a plack that shows the valleys forming the letter Shin. The three valleys form the letter Shin. Meaning God Almighty. God has given a memorial for the Jews to bind this testimony on their hand and forehead On the back of the hand- -a shin- in the hand of the Jew as a memorial, just like the shin is on the back of the hand in Jerusalem On the forehead. Phylactery -a shin- in the hand of the Jew as a memorial, just like the shin is on the forehead of the microporsophus.

The holy temple represented the body - and Levi’s work in the Temple might give honor to the Holy One. I AM THE DOOR ZOHAR1- PG. 318 He built a tower in the midst of it a strong tower. The tower is that mentioned in the verse. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and is safe. (Proverb 18:10)” and also hewd out a winepress therein.”:this is the gate of righteousness”( PS CXVIIII)…He who makes an offering of his son brings him under the Holy Name…To this son that is born of thee I apply the words of scripture ”Every one that is called by my name…I have formed him and I have made him” Isa. XLIII,7); also the verse, “And all the children taught of the Lord” the righteous run into it and is safe. Jesus said I am the door. The cleft in the rock is the soul body of the Messiah. It is also the door into paradise. It is where the 144,000 will enter.

Introduction 1 QM War Scroll

Today is his appointed time to lay low and to make fall the prince of the dominion of wickedness; and he will send eternal help to the lot he has redeemed by the power of the angel he has made glorious for rule, Michael, in eternal light, to give light in joy to all Israel, peace and blessing to the lot of God, to exalt among the gods the rule of Michael and the dominion of Israel over all flesh.

TWO WORDS NEED TO BE DEFINED. The word “gods” Michael There was but one God of Qumran . He was the creator of the gods. The term gods is celestial. Morels and Domas approaches the subject p.509 In Hebrew writings, the term “Heavenly Hosts” includes not only the counselors and emissaries of Jehovah, but also the celestial luminaries; and the stars, imagined in the East to be animated intelligences, presiding over human weal and woe, are identified with more distinctly impersonated messengers or angels, who execute the Divine decrees, and whose predominance in Heaven is in mysterious correspondence and relation with powers and dominions of the Earth…The Elohoim originally included not only foreign superstitious forms , but also all that host of Heaven which was revealed in poetry to shepherds of the desert, now as an encampment of warriors, now careering in chariots of fire , and now as winged messengers, ascending and descending the vault of heaven, to communicate the will of God to Mankind. The Eternal” says the Bereshith Rabba to Genesis, “ called forth Abraham and his posterity out of the dominion of the stars; by nature , the Israelite was a servent to the stars, and born under their influence, as are the heathen ; but by virtue of the law given on Mount Sinai, he became 38

liberated from this degrading servitude.”… Yet the astrological character is assigned even to Jehovah. He is described as seated on the pinnacle of the Universe, leading forth the Hosts of Heaven, and telling them unerringly by name and number. His stars are His sons and His eyes , which run through the whole world, keeping watch over men’s deeds. The stars and planets were properly the angels. In Pharisaic tradition , as in phraseology of the New Testament , the Heavenly Host appears as an Angelic Army divided into regiment and brigades”… An angelic and heavenly army is also noted from the same Qumran document. You will do battle against them from the heave[ns . ] 18[,, . ] upon them for confusion [ ] i9 20[ . ] Col. 12 For You have a multitude of holy ones in the heavens and hosts of angels in Your exalted dwelling to pr[aise] Your [name]. The chosen ones of the holy people …..together with Your holy ones [and] Your angels, and directing them Sin battle [so as to condemn] the earthly adversaries by trial with Your judgments. With the elect of heaven [they] shall prev[ail]. . For the Lord is holy, and the King of Glory is with us together with the holy ones. Migh[ty men and] a host of angels are with our commissioned forces. 9 The Hero of Wa[r] is with our company, and the host of His spirits is with our steps Michael He is the captain of the army of hosts of the Lord. He is seen in Joshua 5 :14 and will be discussed in more detail as we proceed. *If such a war were to occur it would not be the first time. In the Book of Judges the stars were said to have fought in courses. The Zohar tells us that two stars actually switched places in this episode. To understand what’s really being discussed here the reader will need the background information provided below.

BELIAL “At the beginning of the undertaking of the sons of light, they shall start against the lot of the sons of darkness, the army of Belial…so that wickedness shall be laid low…” (The War of the Sons of Light with the Sons of Darkness, translation from Burrows. ) DRACO=BELIAL

The term Belial evidently also applies to the celestial dragon, also known as Bel or Beliar . He is representative of Satan or the Devil. Masonic Handbook 499-500 The army of Belial is the army of the Prince of Darkness. The negative element is pictured as a serpent in Genesis , and in the heavens as the constellation Draco. 1. The eclipses of the sun and moon were believed by the orientals to be caused by the assaults of a dæmon in dragon-form; and they endeavored to scare away the intruder by shouts and menaces. This was the original Leviathan or Crooked Serpent of old, transfixed in the olden time by the power of Jehovah, and suspended as a glittering trophy in the sky; yet also the Power of Darkness supposed to be ever in pursuit of the Sun and Moon. ... The northern constellation Draco, whose sinuosities wind like a river through the wintry bear, was made the astronomical cincture of the Universe, as the serpent encircles the mundane egg in Egyptian hieroglyphics “ And according to the Jewish and Persian belief, the Dragon would, in the latter days, the Winter of time, enjoy a short period of licensed impunity, which would be a season of the greatest suffering to the people of the earth; but he would finally be bound or destroyed in the great battle of Messiah….Near the image of Rhea, in the Temple of Bel at Babylon, were two large serpents of silver, says Diodorus, each weighing thirty talents; and in the same temple was an image of Juno, holding in her right hand the head of a serpent. The Greeks called Bel Beliar; and Hesychius interprets that word to mean a dragon or great serpent. We learn from the book of Bel and the Dragon that in Babylon was kept a great, live serpent, which the 40

people worshipped. The recognition of a moral and physical dualism in nature was adverse to the doctrine of Divine Unity... The simpler, and probably the older, notion, treated the one only God as the Author of all things. “I form the light,” says Jehovah, “and create darkness; I cause prosperity and create evil; I, the Lord, do all these things.” John the Revelator also spoke of Draco; Revelation 12:3. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. Seven Heads. Draco was considered to have seven heads (ie the Dragons and other serpents now shown in the Zodaic include; three held by Hercules. Hydra, Hydras, and Serpentarius Hydras is later apparition. Lepus was once shown as a serpent BELIAL=LUCIFER BELIAL IN THE PIT The War Scroll states; 1. You sent an angel of light from of old to assist us. You made Belial for the pit

REV 12 :7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him These words fit nicely into the Qumran theme. And there was war in heaven: Michael This identifies the star Akram ,meaning war. The battle of the equinoxes is here implied Equinoxes and Solstices help show the theme for these three subjects.\ THE SUN A UNIVERSAL DIETY 41

The cornerstone -is also the rock Isa.7:13-16 This refers to the coming Messiah. Christians believe this is Y’shua/Jesus . Jews suggest it is the rock. In this study we will see the rock as a sign of the virgin that will conceive. Here the virgin Jerusalem becomes a present tense sign, of the virgin in the future that will give birth to the Messiah.

WAR PREDICTED FOR ISRAEL *Also see Theosophical Dictionary Isaiah’s prophecy depicts a future time when Assyria and Egypt would come in to play again on the world stage. Council is to be taken concerning the Lord of Hosts as a stone of stumbling… 44

Isa. And many among them shall stumble . Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

The Face and the Holy One  22-23

Therefore thus saith the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

 But

when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

(Messianic Idea, 121-3). • 4 The destruction of the Temple thus shattered the unity of YHWH and dispersed the collectivity of Israel only in order to weave together the unity of all the Nations in His Name

YHVH was the soul BODY of The MESSIAH God placed his name upon the rock. Scripture links the name to the Holy One, This name was said to be the soul body of the Messiah The Holy One.The Zohar uses the literal translation of genesis to tell the story. Zohar Vol. pg 68And God said Let there be light; and there was light. From this point we can begin to discover hidden things relating to the creation of the world in detail… Zohar Vol. pg69. Hence “and God said: opens means the above mentioned palace generated from the holy seed which was pregnant While it brought forth in silence…it became the voice which was heard, to wit, “Let there be light.”Whatever was issued came forth under this category.

They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 as it is written,”Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” This must occur literally. 1. Adam was made from dust on Mount Zion, which was on the Temple mount and thus part of the image itself. 2. Adam sinned and lost to the serpent Jacob regained the image for himself Another way of explaining this wonderful truth is the after Adam sinned he was naked and ashamed. In order that mankind might learnd of the Holy One and the seed in the Root of Jesse. Isaiah said, “ Jacob is not ashamed”.

.

THE ANTICHRIST The Hebrew word for face is “Peniel” . It means “ the face of God”. · This word also means; “To appear at eventide” and “ fear the 48

But when his children see the work of my hands in the midst of them they shall sanctify the Holy One of Israel.

forefront of the face.” In the forefront of the face the land forms a picture of a male member. Here we will soon see how God gave honor to the least comely parts. The seed of the Holy One is in the rock. The Hebrew word for rock is aben it means father and son. The Holy one is like the seed of the testicle. This Phallic symbol sits within the valley of Jerusalem, which formed the outline of a female arrow case. sits within the valley of Jerusalem, which formed the outline of a female arrow case. It is in the act of begetting To get the big picture all the gates are labeled: 1. There are two rocks, which form the testicles 2. Water Gate*; is placed at the appropriate placed and means Semen juice or urine. 3 Hezekiah’s tunnel formed a line of circumcision access the phallus. 4. Muster Gate; deposit enjoin, deliver to keep 5. Valley Gate; Mount up, be risen, grow up lifting up, exalt. 6. Nearby was Enrogel; meaning see the piss 7. It is also next to En Gihon; virgin spring; gush forth, take out to issue 8 Millo; Replenish, overflow, the Gate 9. East Gate; Itch, Scrape 10. The tunnel leads to the pool of Siloam meaning; Grow long, plant, sow, shoot missile, stretch forth, put in, put out.

He found a 49

stone with some markings on it.

However if Jesus was referring to the stone when he said these words new meaning can be applied. eating and drinking …The stone is positioned within the mouth of the face of the Microprosophus… Cronos ate the stone. marrying and giving in marriage…The stone is positioned within 50

the clay earth in the form of male member in relation to the female. Here we recall the words of Paul “Christ is the head…God has given honor to the least comely parts” “Kronos”Ate the foundation stone. Hezus (In him was life) According to one account: He spit it up and it became the Milky Way… That is to say Jesus would be raise to the heavens.

1 Eating + Drinking The Temple is located in the mouth of the Microprsophus ie The face of Jacob All the food and drink offerings are given in type to the face. The alter had horns of ivory which were to represent teeth of the image. 51

From this point we begin to discover the hidden things relating to the creation of the world in detail….When …energy had been extended from the supernal palace alluded to in the supernal name Eloihim, the term saying is used in connection to it in the words… “and God said”, means that the above palace generated from the holy seed with which it was pregnant.

52

The Jewish Talmud also tells us about this stone in ZionJerusalem on the Temple Mount (Zion). O.K. then Jesus is the cornerstone, so he must be “THE WORD” right? IN THE BEGINNING WAS “THE WORD” In the following discussion let us begin to analyze the term Holy One and see how it is THE WORD on THE ROCK which is the soul body of the Messiah and will prove to beY’shuah or Yehosha (The one we’ve called Jesus).

Scripture tells us the YHVH is the Holy One i.e. the Messiah 54

For so says the Lord YHVH, the Holy One of Israel,(Isa 30:15) - "For I am YHVH your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; (Isa 43:3) And the nations shall know that I am YHVH, the Holy One in Israel. BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Luke 13:35 "Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'" Luke 19:38 shouting: "BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" John 12:13 took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, "Hosanna! By lining the subject up line upon line precept upon precept we can 55

see that Paul is speaking of these same subjects we’ve discussed in examine the similarities of Paul’s text at in other ancient documents. Assad thinks nothing of this small army and does not choose to fight Isa. 29. Afterwards we will them . Then the noise from the music cause his horse to fall in the pit. And the army of the Lord has a snare for those climbing out of the pit.

Then I passed on towards the south; 9Where burnt, both by day and night, six mountains formed of glorious stones; three towards the east, and three towards the south. 10Those which were towards the east were of a variegated stone; one of which was of margarite, and another of antimony. Those towards the south were of a red stone. The middle one reached to heaven like the throne of God; a throne composed of alabaster, the top of which was of sapphire. Over these fountains also I perceived a place which had neither the firmament of heaven above it, nor the solid ground underneath it; neither was there water above it; nor anything on wing; but the spot was desolate. 14And there I beheld seven stars, like great blazing mountains, and like spirits entreating me. Therefore was He offended with them, and bound them, until the period of the consummation of their crimes in the secret year. 58

NOW IS THE TIME The Talmud (Sukkah 29a) declares: "An eclipse of the sun is a bad omen for the world." Who can appoint a Day? Isaiah the prophet asked. I’d like to answer this because I believe I can. It is March 20.2015 Joel discusses the day of the Lord as a solar eclipse Jeremiah set the Month Putting these together The answer must appear in the text. After a series of cluse he lets us no the event must take place on March 20,2015 It seems from his clus it will be the time of a Neb tide . This occurs on March 20th. And by an od coincidence this is the date of a Solar Eclipse that Rabbis feel could be very significant. If there are to be signs in the sky then certainly Is this the appointed Time? Never before in the histroy of the earth has an event ;like this occurred. And the only time the heavens have done anything like it were in 1947 and 1067 marking the birth of Rabbi Meir said in a recent commentary: “When the luminaries are in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel.” A solar eclipse is a bad sign of trouble for the world and a lunar eclipse is a sign of trouble for Israel Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: During a solar exclipse ps83:13 O my God, make them like whirling dust, ... with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring Matt. 24:29 KJV "distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves" 62

Luke n 21:25 KJV And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; For centuries, scholars have attempted to ascertain the meaning of this prophecy. Jewish tradition and beliefs may help us explain this passage. In 1996, Israel celebrated the 3,000th year anniversary of Jerusalem - from King David’s conquest in 1004 B.C. to A.D. 1996 On Passover, April 3, 1996, a full lunar eclipse appeared over Jerusalem. A photograph of this eclipse appeared in the Jerusalem Post with the caption, “The Moon of Blood.” When a full lunar eclipse appears, the moon takes on a reddish, almost bloody appearance. On September 26 of the same year, a second lunar eclipse created a blood-like image and was visible in Jerusalem on the eve of the Feast of Tabernacles. A third lunar eclipse (90%) happened six months later during PURIM, the celebration to remember how the famed Jewish Queen Esther defeated the wicked plans of Haman. Thus, THREE lunar eclipses occurring within one year on or near three Jewish celebration days is almost unheard of. These three “blood moons,” caused tremendous excitement and anxiety among rabbis in Israel, according to the same article. A blood moon, which appeared twice the same year and fell on the first and last feast of Israel, indicated to them this was a cosmic sign from God of impending trouble in Israel. The ancient belief was that a blood moon (lunar eclipse) could symbolize BLOODSHED and WAR. Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all

the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. Ezekiel 32:7-8 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. [8] All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God. These three nations, Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia, will be affected bt the Antichrist. Ezekiel 30:4-6 -And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. [5] Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. [6] Thus saith the Lord; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord God. COL I For the In[structor, the Rule of] the War. The first attack of the Sons of Light shall be undertaken against the forces of the Sons of Darkness, the army of Belial: the troops of Edom, Moab, the sons of Ammon, the [Amalekites], Philistia, and the troops of the Kittim of Asshur. Supporting them are those who have violated the covenant. The sons of Levi, the sons of Judah, and the sons of Benjamin, those exiled to the wilderness, shall fight against them with [...] against all their troops, when the exiles of the Sons of Light return from the Wilderness of the Peoples to camp in the Wilderness of Jerusalem. Then after the battle they shall go up from that place a[nd tile king of; the Kittim [shall enter] into Egypt. In his time he shall go forth with great wrath to do battle against the kings of the north, and in his anger he shall set out to destroy and eliminate the strength of I[srael. Then the]re shall be a time of salvation for the People of God, and a time of dominion for all the men of His forces, and eternal annihilation for all the forces of Belial. There shall be g[reat] panic [among] the sons of Japheth, Assyria shall fall with no one to come to his aid, and the supremacy of the Kittim shall cease that wickedness be

overcome without a remnant. There shall be no survivors of (7) [all the Sons of] Darkness. Then at the time appointed by God, His great excellence shall shine for all the times of (9) e[ternity;] for peace and blessing, glory and joy, and long life for all Sons of Light. On the day when the Kittim fall there shall be a battle and horrible carnage before the God of (10) Israel, for it is a day appointed by Him from ancient times as a battle of annihilation for the Sons of Darkness. On that day the congregation of the gods and the congregation of men shall engage one another, resulting in great carnage. (11) The Sons of Light and the forces of Darkness shall fight together to show the strength of God with the roar of a great multitude and the shout of gods and men; a day of disaster. It is a time (12) of distress fo[r al]l the people who are redeemed by God. In all their afflictions none exists that is like it, hastening to its completion as an eternal redemption. On the day of their battle against the Kittim, (13) they shall g[o forth for] carnage in battle. In three lots the Sons of Light shall stand firm so as to strike a blow at wickedness, and in three the army of Belial shall strengthen themselves so as to force the retreat of the forces (14) [of Light. And when the] banners of the infantry cause their hearts to melt, then the strength of God will strengthen the he[arts of the Sons of Light.] In the seventh lot : the great hand of God shall overcome (15) [Belial and al]l the angels of his dominion, and all the men of [his forces shall be destroyed forever]. ISAIAH

The troops of Edom, Moab, the Philistines toward the west; they sons of Ammon, the [Amalekites], shall spoil them of the east Philistia, and the troops of the together: they shall lay their hand Kittim of Asshur. upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Conclusions drawn: We deduce that both documents discuss four common enemies. 1. Edom 2. Moab 3. Ammon 4. Philistia. The troops of the Kittim of Asshur. are part of the Ws and in the Isaiah text are not mentioned as an enemy. Isaiah Verse 16 exhibits a hint of Asshur’s (Assyria’s) participation; in that there shall be a highway left, from Assyria. 16. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. Part two Next we address the question of who the children of light are that fight the children of Darkness. We determine that they are those from the full house of Israel that will join the dry bones of Israel now. The text is in two parts as follows; The sons of Levi, the sons of Judah, and the sons of Benjamin, 96

Psalms+WAR SCROLL COMPARISON

Col. 1+Psalms 83:9 Edom Moab Ammom Philistia * Do unto them as Sisera 

4. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6. The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

7. Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8. Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of lot. Selah. 9. Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

Psalms –Sisera Comparison Psalms speaks of the future event, comparing it to a war with Sisera. 98 Judge 5 describes the event. 19. The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.

*Col. 1 The description includes words preparing us to follow the time line in Daniel 11

Then after the battle they shall go up from that place 4a[nd the king of; the Kittim [shall enter] into Egypt. In his time he shall go forth with great wrath to do battle against the kings of the north, and in his anger he shall set out to destroy and eliminate the strength of I[srael.

Daniel 11:29 ( Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. mentioned) • At the time appointed he shall return, and come into the south; but it shall not be in the latter time as it was in the former 30 For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be cowed, and he shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do his pleasure; and he shall return, and have regard unto them that forsake the holy covenant.

Then after the battle they shall go up from that place 4 a[nd tile king of; the Kittim [shall enter] into Egypt. They are going up from the Negev…the lowest point on earth by the Dead Sea. This is the Son of Perdition In his time he shall go forth with great wrath to do battle against the kings of the north, and in his anger he shall set out to destroy and eliminate the strength of I[srael this…. will be later..after a series of wars. bridge leading to Jordan. These were those that said let us flee on horses (5000 shall flee…but not with horses.) This allows King of Syria to take 5000 horses. *See Esau Gen 27 And Esau wept loudly.39 Then his father Isaac answered him: Look, your dwelling place will be away from the richness of the land, away from the dew of the sky above. 40 You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. But when you rebel, you will break his yoke from your neck * The rebellious children with in the desert are with the cub (son) of the lion from Syria and the army that they have which just attack Jerusalem Isa. 30 …and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:…This is those that follow the King of Tyre for he is the anointed Cherub that covereth. Commentary: We know that The King of Jordan (now Abdullah) will be in his hand according to Daniel 11. . Jordan consists of Edom Moab and Ammon. He is with the chief of Ammon ie the Abdullah and helping him betray the people of Edom. But Assad is holpen of the children of lot. This means he is in the plan to come against the Edomites. They intend to flee on horses but Assad will send his men to attack them as they run, not on horses, Isa 30 2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. After the war the young men, that attacked Jerusalem , go along with one of Assad’s sons i.e. his young cubs…and the King of Tyre to Egypt but in the future this will not work well for them 4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. Assad;s young sons go to Zoan along with the King of Tyre that goes to take the treasures of Egypt the archeological site of Pi Ramesses , by Ramses Egypt ambassadors go to the district of Egypt to complain 100

5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach. Egypt will not profit for them 6 The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, This identifies Assad the viper and fiery flying serpent, The King of Tyre as the antichrist Satan incarnated they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still. Egypt at this time will help later will not profit from them. 8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: 9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Esau is the rebellious children 10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: battles of shaking will he fight with it. 33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. 11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. 12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: The King of Tyre and the Sons of Assad will go through Bethabbarah to go south (negeb desert ) away from the fire 13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.14 And he shall break it You will be destroyed when the Dam of the Nile breaks 101

as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. Like the breaking of Jerusalem the Pot 15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. This now discusses Esau 18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. 19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. 20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: The Isaiah pesher here reads Zodakite priests 21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. 22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence. 23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. 24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. 25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. 26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that 102

the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. 27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: This is the YHVH on the rock 28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. The Jodan river will burn when the rock descend on the pit and Moab 29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel. 30 And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. 32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in 31 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord! 2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. 3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together. 4 For thus hath the Lord spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 5 As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it. 6 Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. 103

7 For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin. 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? 9. And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter… 10. For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. 16. Indeed, Goliath the Gittitej a mighty man of valor, 2 You delivered into the hand of David, Your servant, because he trusted in Your great name and not in sword and spear. For the battle is Yours. 3 He subdued the Philistines many times by Your holy name. Also by the hand of our kings You rescued us many times 4 because of Your mercy; not according to our works, for we have acted wickedly, nor for the acts of our rebelliousness. The battle is Yours, the strength is from You, sit is not our own. Neither our power nor the strength of our hand have done valiantly, but rather by Your power and the strength of Your great valor. 132

46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into my hand; and I will smite thee, and take thy head from off thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel; 47 and that all this assembly may know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD'S, and He will give you into our hand.' {S}

45 Then said David to the Philistine: 'Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast taunted.

49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slung it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead; and the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

51 And David ran, and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw that their mighty man was dead, they fled.

Isaiah 11:11. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12. We bless Your name forever, for we are an [eter]na[l] people. You made a covenant with our fathers, and will establish it for their seed 8throughout the ages of eternity. In all the testimonies of Your glory there has been remembrance of Your [kindness] in our midst as an assistance to the remnant and the survivors for the sake of Your covenant 9 and to re[count] Your works of truth and the judgments of Your wondrous strength. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 21. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. 22. He shall read aloud 5 the prayer for the appointed time of battle, as is written in the boo]k SereLh Itto (The Rule of His Time), including all the words of their thanksgivings. Then he shall form there all the battle lines, as writ[ten in the Book of the War. Then the priest appointed for the time of vengeance by 7 all his brothers shall walk about and encourage [them for the battl]e, and he shall say in response: "Be strong and courageous as warriors. 9 Fear not, nor be discoura[ged and let not y]our [heart be faint.] Do not panic, neither be alarmed because of them. Do not 9turn back nor [flee from the]m. For they are a wicked congregation, all their deeds are in darkness; i째it is [their] desire. Then the priests shall blow for them the trumpets 4 Of remembrance. The gates of w[ar] shall open, [and] the infantry shall go out and stand in columns between the battle lines. (stand in the gap) The priests shall blow for them 5a signal for the formation and the columns [shall deplo]y at the sound of the trumpets until each man has taken his station. Then the priests shall blow for them 6a second signal: [signs for confron]tation. When they stand near the battle line of the Kittim, within throwing range, each man shall raise his hand with his weapon of 7war. Then the six [priests shall blow on the tr]umpets of the slain a sharp staccato note to direct the fighting. The Levites and the all the people with 8 rams' horns shall blow [a battle signa]l, a loud noise. As the sound goes forth, the infantry shall begin to bring down the slain of the Kittim, and all 9 the people shall cease the signal, [but the priest]s shall continue blowing on the trumpets of the slain and the battle shall prevail against the Kittim.

The final battle the second engagement. 152

Ă’When [Belial] prepares himself to assist the Sons of Darkness, and the slain among the infantry begin to fall by God's mysteries and to test by these mysteries all those appointed for battle, 12 the priests shall blow the trumpets of assembly so that another battle line might go forth as a battle reserve, and they shall take up position between the battle lines. ~3 For those employed in battle they shall blow a signal to return. Then the Chief Priest shall approach and stand before the battle line, and shall encourage ~4 their heart by [the wondrous might of God and] fortify their hands for His battle. I5 And he shall say in response: ["Blessed is God, for] He tests the he[ar]t of His people in the crucible. And not [ . . . ] have your slain [ . . . ]. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised; 26. Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.

He will send eternal support to the company of His redeemed by the power of the majestic angel of the authority of Michael. By eternal light 7 He shall joyfully light up the covenant of Israel peace and blessing for the lot of God-to exalt the authority of Michael among the gods and the dominion 8Of Israel among all flesh. Righteousness shall rejoice on high, and al1 sons of His truth shall rejOice in eternal knowledge. But as for you, O sons of His covenant, 9take courage in God's crucible, until He shall wave His hand and complete His fiery trials; His mysteries concerning your existence." The final battle the third engagement. 째And after these words the priests shall blow for them a signal to form the divisions of the battle line. The columns shall be deployed at the sound of the trumpets, until each man has taken his station. Then the priests shall blow another signal on the trumpets, signs for confrontation. When the infa[ntry] has approached [the battle] line of the Kitt[im], within throwing range, each man shall raise his hand with his weapon. Then the priests shall blow on the trumpets of the slain [and the Levites and the al] the people with rams' horns shall sound a signal for battle. 4Q491 (4Q Milhamah)Web Commentary In the publication by the original editors, the fragments of 4Q491 were considered to be the remains of a single work. This work was thought to be a form of the War Scroll, one with extensive portions that found no exact match in the Cave 1 copy. A recent thorough study of the evidence, however, suggests that 4Q491 is instead three distinct manuscripts. The original editors had been deceived by the similar 156

appearance of these manuscripts and had mistakenly grouped three texts together. Thus reorganized, the manuscripts can now be characterized as follows. Manuscript A represents a text that is similar to the Cave 1 copy, but with a fuller representation of the seven engagements of the troops in the final battle. Manuscript B appears to be a shorter, "Reader's Digest" form of the Cave 1 composition. Manuscript C comprises a hymn that is not even related to the War Scroll. Rather, it is related to the Thanksgiving Psalms (text 3). The original publication of Manuscript C's poem suggested that it was spoken by the Archangel Michael (cf. Dan. 10:13; Rev. 12:7), who features prominently in the War Scroll (lQM 17:6-7). The recently available manuscripts from Cave 4, however, now show that this notion is mistaken. Instead, the identity of the speaker here must be directly connected to that of the speaker in the Thanksgiving Psalms. Commentary from web Col. 26 of those psalms contains the same key elements we find here in Manuscript C. The first-person account, so characteristic of the Thanksgiving Psalms, is the form of address in both places. Moreover, in both poems the author makes the fantastic claim that none can be compared to him, because he is on equal footing with the heavenly beings (probably to be understood as angels)! If it is concluded that the Teacher of Righteousness wrote the Thanksgiving Psalms, he penned Manuscript C's text as well. A variant of the blessings of the war recited by all the leaders in the morning before the battle.
