Disney Musicals in Schools
Disney Musicals in Schools is a free after-school program tailored for select Title I elementary schools. Over 17 weeks, participating schools receive performance rights and ShowKit materials for a 30-minute Disney musical, engaging up to 50 students.

The Molly Blank Fund Kaleidoscope
The Molly Blank Fund Kaleidoscope program is ASU Gammage’s immersive program designed to introduce students from Title I high schools to the captivating art of musical theater. Each year, we invite students on an exhilarating journey through an engaging, curriculum-based program that ignites their passion for the performing arts.

Expressions

Military Family First Nights
Military Family First Nights is a program where military personnel annually receive tickets to attend three Broadway performances. These families serve our nation at home while loved ones serve abroad. This program provides them with exclusive opportunities, including a meetand-greet with the cast. It’s a small gesture of gratitude for their immense dedication and sacrifice in service to our country.

Camp Broadway
Camp Broadway® Mainstage is designed for theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. The five-day camp is open to all children, regardless of previous performing experience.

Kristina Wong Residency
The ASU Gammage Residency program supports exceptional artists like Kristina Wong, offering a platform to create, teach and perform while engaging with ASU and Phoenix Metro communities.

ASU Gammage Herberger Scholarship Students
Each year, ASU Gammage works directly with the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts to award two outstanding students the ASU Gammage Herberger Scholarship in the fields of theater and/or dance. The scholarship allows the recipients to receive mentoring and career opportunities with ASU Gammage staff and touring Broadway and/or Beyond company members. Congratulations to this year’s recipients!

Alexis Solano is a fourth year Dance BFA student attending the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU.
“This scholarship impacts me greatly both as a college student and a local artist aspiring to bring communities together to share messages of awareness and activism. It’s rewards like these that push me to continue my journey of Dance, and aid me in actively spreading these desired truths to a world of potential. I feel seen and inspired to honor these creative goals of mine, as I know now better than ever that they are more than possible to achieve.”

Crestcencia “CeCe” Ortiz-Barnett, Ph.D, is a third year Master of Fine Arts student in Directing in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre.
“I am so grateful for the honor of being one of this year’s scholarship recipients. This honor validates the work I’ve been doing at ASU, as well as allows me to expand on my theater research studies and aspirations to continually learn about the everevolving theater world and where I can find myself in it. I believe that being an ASU Gammage scholarship recipient aids in developing the networking and contacts needed for success in this industry. I hope to utilize my doctoral research and MFA training to become a change agent in the field and I am so thankful for the head start opportunity that ASU Gammage has given me to do so.”

The ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards recognizes and celebrates Valley high school students and faculty that produce musical theatre programs. Over the school year, schools are adjudicated in 14 performance and tech categories.
