Our department partners with local organizations to offer students internships, including roles with La Frontera Arizona, Maricopa County Superior Courts, Optimal Behavioral Health Services, LLC and the Department of Child Safety.

Jasmin R. graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2021. As a student, she worked in a neurorehabilitation unit for traumatic brain injuries and as a patient care technician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She served as a teaching assistant, mentoring and tutoring other psychology undergraduates while engaging in research labs. Since graduating, she has been pursuing a career as a physician assistant.
Bryan Y. graduated in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. He led Project Koyash through ASU’s EPICS program, where he developed and delivered air filtration units to homes in Mongolia. He founded the nonprofit Koyash to support this work and continues with the organization while also preparing for medical school.
