ENROLLMENT & INFORMATION Boulder Ballet School is the official school of the Boulder Ballet. Under the direction of Ana Claire this program has received local and national recognition. We offer classes from age 3 to adult. If you do not enter the program by age 8, you will need to take a placement class. Arrangements can be made by contacting the Boulder Ballet office. The Boulder Ballet School accepts online registration for our classes. To register, simply go to boulderballet.org and link to the school registration website. If you don’t already have one, you will need to set up an account with a user name and password. Please note that if a student discontinues instruction at any point during the summer session no refunds will be given for the remaining tuition. Check the website for registration policies and procedures. Classes will be held in our Boulder Ballet studios at the Dairy, Studio 1 (S1) and Studio 2 (S2). Summer classes are held in two three-week sessions. The school will be closed the week of July 4th. Adult classes are held throughout the year - see Adult program for more information. Creative Movement Ages 3 - 4 An introduction to movement, rhythm,coordination and working with others. Tuesday 3:30pm – 4:15 pm S2 Cost per session: $30 Both sessions: $55 Saturday 9:00am - 9:45am S2 Cost per session: $30 Both sessions: $55

Our studios are located at the Dairy Center for the Arts. Park behind the building and look for the blue stairs. The studios are immediatedly to your right and left. The Boulder Ballet office is located in the front of the building next to the Community Box Office.

Pre Ballet Ages 5 - 6 An introduction to ballet, further exploration of rhythm, discipline, learning steps, creating stories with dance. INTERMEDIATE INTENSIVE

Monday - Friday 2pm - 4:30pm S1 Cost per session: $305 Both sessions: $575

June 4th - September 1(13 weeks) No classes on July 4th Adult classes are offered on a drop-in basis. Payment is by the class or by punch card. Punch cards are available at the office. Drop-in $15/class 10 class punch card $120 Unlimited for 30 days $150*

SENIOR INTENSIVE

Beginning Ballet Tuesday 6:00pm - 7:30pm S1

The intermediate intensive meets five times a week and includes technique and intermediate pointe. Admission to the Intensive is by BBS Director only.

The senior intensive meets five times a week and includes technique and advanced pointe. Students attend the adult/company class. Admission to the Intensive is by BBS Director only. Monday - Friday 9:30am - 1:00pm S2 + S1 Cost per session: $425 Both sessions: $800

August 11- August 16 This class is offered to help you prepare for Nutcracker auditions and the Fall semester. Instructor to be announced. Enroll based on Fall 2008 placement. Levels IV/V: M-Th & Sat 1:00pm - 3:30pm S1 Cost: $120(with pointe)

LevelsVI/VII: M-Th & Sat 3:30pm - 6:00pm S1 Cost: $120(with pointe) In lieu of a Friday class we are offering a Saturday class to accomodate BVSD students who start school Friday August 15.

Girls: (Level I - VI) Black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers (full sole). Hair should be neatly pulled back, away from face. Buns required for Levels IIIa and above. During the summer participants may choose to wear a colored leotard. Boys: (Boyz Dance & Ballet) White t-shirt, black tights and white or black leather ballet shoes.
