Once a year, the Ateneo campus is filled with festive vibes for the annual Ateneo fiesta. It is a celebration that every Atenean looks forward to, a time to showcase the talents and skills of each cluster, bond with friends and classmates, and to enjoy a few days without thinking about academics.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic robbed us two precious years of our college lives. Instead of facing our classmates and sitting on physical classrooms, we spent two years facing the screens and meeting our teachers and classmates online. However, for the past two years, we still have made it possible for the Ateneans to feel the fiesta spirit in our virtual space through the online Ateneo fiesta and the Palarong Atenista which focused on e-sports.
Now, we are finally returning to the way that it used to be. This 74th Ateneo Fiesta, we finally step into the campus once again and feel the energy that we once had before the pandemic changed our lives. While we still have to follow the health protocols, we could say that indeed, the campus life that was lost is now finally back.
With this, Atenews brings back the fiesta magazine and highlights not just the events that transpired during the Palarong Atenista and 74th Ateneo Fiesta, but also the ef forts and preparations of each cluster to make this return to a face-to-face celebration possible.
