Friend of the Garden 2900 Andrews Drive, Atlanta, GA 30305
True estate-style gardens combined with woodland elements create the most delightful setting to accompany this stunning Tudor home. Guests will be greeted by a fenced edible garden brimming with seasonal herbs, fruits and vegetables. Winding footpaths guide a shaded stroll to a covered outdoor living space with a stone fireplace, potted topiaries, and drifts of panicle hydrangeas framing an idyllic view of the pool and terrace. A formal parterre garden, featuring perfectly manicured boxwoods, sits at the top of hill with a centerpiece planter.
1050 East Club Lane, Atlanta, GA 30319
Tucked away in historic Brookhaven, a gravel driveway winds through native azaleas and rhododendron toward an inviting Arts and Crafts cottage and garden. Enter through an allee of Cherokee dogwoods to a quaint garden house, complete with luminous stained-glass windows. Wander along flagstone and pea gravel paths through bamboo groves, a sunken garden, koi pond, a hidden patio, and a whimsy white garden with arbors and benches. The Hubers are truly hands-on gardeners and have nurtured hellebores, hydrangeas, azaleas, camellias, phlox, iris, and David Austin roses. Delight in garden sculptures Fiddlehead Fern and Penny Farthing by renowned Atlanta artist Andrew Crawford. This lovely garden has appeared in Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, and Southern Accent.
700 Greenview Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
This English cottage garden was first featured on the Tour in 2013. Inspired by the owner’s mother-in-law’s home garden and visits to colonial Williamsburg, the front garden showcases organically-grown roses, peonies, rhubarb, clematis, and a wide variety of herbs. Guests will also find a large fruiting olive tree, a pear tree, raspberries, blueberries and elderberries! Follow the path along the side of the house to find a rustic staircase that steps down to a rain fed pond and dry streambed. The bridge in the rear garden leads to a native meadow with wildflowers and beehives.
This charming cottage garden is a true extension of the main house with sculptural elements and formal parterre punctuated with traditional boxwoods and carefully maintained containers. Brick pathways guide guests through a variety of garden rooms to find loquat trees, peonies, Lions Head Japanese maple, and special iris brought from the South Carolina home of the owner’s grandmother. Serving as a focal point in the back garden, the facade of the quaint guest cottage features fragrant, longblooming ‘New Dawn’ roses climbing on distinctive trelliswork. The garden was renovated in 2020 to allow for a more open design by Tyne Martinez of Consilio Gardens.

Laura C. Martin and Jack Burch 155 Lakeview Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
Garden writer and botanical illustrator, Laura C. Martin, has spent the last 20 years transforming her yard into a magical organic landscape that welcomes wildlife and delights children of all ages. The sunny front garden is traditional, complementing the 100-year-old house and features beds of colorful native pollinator plants. The shady back garden is home to Laura’s art studio and a large mossy “lawn” surrounded by a variety of native and ornamental plants. A carved tree stump chair is on the patio near the “fairy estate,” which includes a miniature pizza oven, pool table and a formal garden.
