Super Bowl Opening Night is the first interaction that Super Bowl players and coaches from both teams have with media before the Super Bowl, and the only time the two teams will be in one location before the game. TRAVEL TIPS Downtown Atlanta provides countless options for navigating the city and the Super Bowl campus by vehicle and on foot. Here are a few pro tips for moving around downtown:
Plan Ahead: Experience all Super Bowl LIII has to offer, from Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade to Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon. With more than one million visitors expected during the 10-day festivities, please allow extra time when traveling due to special event road closures and detours. Move Like a Local: MARTA is the best way to travel to downtown Atlanta, with parking available at select stations, expanded schedules and increased frequency of trains going to and from the Super Bowl campus. Park and Go: If you plan on driving downtown, please visit www.ParkSuperBowl.com for parking maps and resources. Please note that parking will be limited, so plan ahead. Super Bowl Sunday: Fans are encouraged to arrive early. On Super Bowl Sunday, Super Bowl tickets are required for entry at Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai at the Georgia World Congress Center and Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Georgia Hands Free Law: While taking MARTA to all Super Bowl events is encouraged, if you choose to drive, please keep in mind that Georgia has a hands free law making it illegal to hold your phone while driving. MARTA MARTA is the best way to reach downtown Atlanta with expanded schedules surrounding Super Bowl week. The Breeze Card is the best way to pay when riding MARTA. The Breeze Card can be used for rail, bus, and the Atlanta Streetcar. MARTA will begin selling commemorative Super Bowl Breeze cards (1-day, 3-day, or 4-day pass) at breezecard.com on Dec. 15. The cost of the Breeze Card is $2.00 in addition to the cost of a fare or day pass. McPherson, East Point, and College Park Stations. Long-term parking is available for $5 customers who park longer than 24 hours at the Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Lenox and Sandy Springs stations. At College Park, Doraville, Lindbergh, and North Springs stations, parking is $8.00 for every 24-hour period.
