A GUIDEBOOK TO ATLANTA

LIVE THE LIFE: ATLANTA

WELCOME

let us show you around

Welcome to Atlanta, the expansive capital of Georgia. Home to over 6,300,000 people, the Atlanta Falcons, Braves and Hawks, Martin Luther King Jr., Ted Turner, Elton John, Whitney Houston, Julia Roberts, Ryan Seacrest, Gone with the Wind, Coca-Cola, the busiest airport in the world and the massive Georgia Aquarium. Atlanta is vibrant, diverse, ever-growing and ever-changing.

Rich in history, it played an important role in both the Civil War and the 1960s Civil Rights Movement and hosted the 1996 Olympic Games. The weather here is quite pleasant; summers are hot, winters are mild. We get all four seasons, although summer is the longest. Atlanta offers top-ranked colleges and universities, including The University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University and Georgia State University. We are served by a leading network of healthcare facilities, including Emory, Grady Memorial Hospital, Piedmont, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Northside Hospital.

Several major national and international companies have built their home here, including CNN, Turner Broadcasting, Mercedes-Benz USA, The Southern Company, Genuine Parts Company, Delta Airlines, The Coca-Cola Company, Home Depot, United Parcel Service.

The Greater Atlanta Area is made up of over 50 suburbs. With countless destinations for entertainment, retail and dining, and with a large dose of Southern hospitality ... we’re excited to welcome you home.
