Alex Schrijvers Alex Schrijvers is a Belgian designer, born in 1970. Since 2004 Alex has been creating exceptional handbags and shoes, all of which are handmade in Belgium. “I feel it is vital to use leather of the best available quality, and that’s why I deal with one of the few remaining tanneries in Belgium,” he comments. For the past three years he has also been designing with fish leather from Atlantic Leather.
“Fish leather is a very beautiful material to work with for my designs, because of
the pure and luxurious structure. I like to work with the Atlantic Leather team, as I appreciate their high standards and professional skills.”
Proud of Alex Alex’s bags and shoes are classic yet cool. He has a passion for good old-style craftsmanship and authentic materials, that he combines with a light and creative approach to form and colour.
