Simple but subtle Setting off for Paris, the Mecca of art and design, in order to win the hearts and minds of designers with our palette, is like taking snow to the North Pole! But we love a challenge – and in this case it’s Le Cuir á Paris on 14 to 16 February. We will be there with our unique fish leather in two simple, but sparkling fresh, colour ranges for Spring/Summer 2013. Love, peace and happiness Our Technical/Design Department went a little wild in our “kitchen lab,” and came up with two different colour ranges, both inspired by the Flower Power era.
Our Colourful range comprises such juicy shades that we simply had to give them equally flavourful names, such as Sunflower Yellow, Ferrari Red, Jungle Green and Deep-sea Blue, with Midnight Black for contrast. A small number of colours, but with endless subtle variations: a touch of this, a dash of that. Sunflower Yellow with a near-imperceptible metallic sheen – gorgeous... In the Nature range, we bring out the character of each different type of fish leather, through a small number of striking earthy tones. We use, for instance, the two-toned potential of salmon leather to the utmost, with a light base colour and a darker shade in the scale-pattern. You must see it, touch it...
