Inspired Hot, cold, smooth, rough. Some things shake you awake, while others are so subtle that you’re not quite sure... That’s what Icelandic nature is like, in its infinite variety, and the same is true of our new Spring/ Summer range for 2014, with its astonishing range of finishes. In salmon leather, for instance, we offer fifteen different finishes for every colour! The red-hot glow of molten lava was the inspiration for our new rough “airbrush” finish, while the delicate changing hues of the evening sky inspired our subtle surface tints, which are almost invisible until the leather starts to move – when the garment is being worn, or the object is in use. And, whether the texture is smooth or rough, it’s always interesting, intriguing. So we are a little sad to say goodbye to this colour range at our last two shows of the season: APLF in March and Lineapelle at the beginning of April. Then we move on into the summer, to start work on our next Autumn/Winter range.
