Facts Atlantic Leather is a leading manufacturer of fish leather: salmon, wolffish, perch and cod.

Endless possibilities: Four different varieties of fish + custom made colours + more than 40 different finishes for each colour = endless possibilities for any style or season.

Custom made colours: We dye our fish leather according to your wishes. Please note, though, that custom samples take longer to deliver, and cost more than regular samples. For practical reasons we offer seven standard colours for perch leather.

Practical advantages: In ordinary leather, the fibres all lie parallel to one other, whereas in fish leather they have a crisscross structure. As a result, fish leather is remarkably strong, thin and flexible, with tear strength of up to 90 newtons.

NON-CITES: Those four varieties of fish are not on any endangered species list, which means less red tape for you. But clients in the USA will nevertheless need a Fish & Wildlife Import Permit to import our fish leather to the USA.

Panels: In order to maximise utilisation we sew the skins together into panels in three different shapes: rectangular, triangular and fish-shaped patterns. The outcome is a strong rectangular panel, usually 40 x 60 cm in size, that can be used in just about anything.

Summer leather: Perforated fish leather has that fresh summertime feeling – light, breathable, and even more flexible than “ordinary� fish leather. Not that fish leather is ever ordinary.

Fast: The delivery time for samples is three weeks at most, and we take 4-5 weeks to process orders.

Bottom line: Luxury leather made from fish skin is something absolutely, utterly unique.

New price list We have recently had to raise the prices of our fish leather, due to higher prices for raw materials and other costs. But our policy remains unchanged: we offer high-quality fish leather at a fair price.
