All Galt’s Gulch student/young adult attendees (ages 18 to 30) from Europe, Asia, Australasia, and Africa will be selected via the application linked at the bottom of this document. Unless otherwise requested, this application also serves as your lodging/travel scholarship application.
Whileeachapplicationisreviewedonafirst-come-first-servebasis,decisionsarebasedon severalfactors,including:
● Degreeofcaretowhichtheapplicationiscompleted.Pleasecarefullyrevieweach questionandanswerinasmuchdetailaspossible.Incompleteapplicationswillnotbe considered.
● EnglishFluency.AllmainstagelectureswillbeinEnglish.Notranslatorswillbeon-site; youmustspeakfluentEnglishtoattendtheconference.
● Previousattendance and active participation atAtlasSocietyevents,includingbutnot limitedto Morals & Markets seminars,Clubhouse&XSpaces,andGalt’sGulchSummit and/orGalt’sGulch2.0.
● KnowledgelevelofObjectivismandAynRand'sliterature.
● Recommendationfromatrustedpartnerorganizationorinstitutionintheliberty movement.
Internationalscholarshipapplicantswillreceivethefollowing:
● Meals&refreshmentsthroughouttheevent.
● Lodging,checkinginonThursday,June5th,andcheckingoutonSunday,June8th. (Allstudents&youngadultswhoacceptlodgingwillhaveonesame-sexroommate. Roommaterequestswillbeconsidered.)
● Reimbursementfortravelcostsupto$1,000ifapplyingbetweenSeptember1,2024,and January1,2025,$800ifapplyingbetweenJanuary2andFebruary1,2025,and$600if applyingbetweenFebruary2,2025andMarch1,2025.
** Scholarshipsareawardedonarollingbasis. The application will close when ALL available international spots are filled or no later than the March 1, 2025 deadline.
AcceptanceProcess:
IfyouareselectedtoattendGalt’sGulch,amemberofourteamwillemailyouwiththenext stepstosecureyourspot.Youmustpayareservationfeeof$50.00forstudents(ages18–25)and $100foryoungadults(ages25–30).Thisreservationfeecoversyouraccesstoallprogramming.
Ifyouareofferedaspotattheconference,youmustprocessthisreservationfeewithin30days, or the offer, including your scholarship, will be rescinded.
Pleaseallow5–7businessdaysaftersubmittingyourapplicationforustoprocessandfollowup withyou.
ReimbursementProcess:
Ifyouareselectedtoreceiveascholarship,youwillberesponsibleforpayingyourtravel expensesupfrontandwillbereimbursedAFTERtheeventconcludesandunderthe followingconditions:
● Youshareyourfulltravelitineraryandprovideallreceiptsforreimbursabletravel expenses.
● Youmissnomorethantwosessionsduringtheconference. **Badges will be scanned upon entry to each session.
● Youpurchasetravelinsurancetocoverpersonalliabilityandinjuryforyourtrip.Please seethelinksatthebottomofthepageformoredetailedinformationontravelinsurance.
● Youshareproofofatravelvisavalidforthedurationoftheconference.Wecanassist withvisaapplicationsbyprovidinganofficialinvitationletter.
● YouhavesignedanddonotviolateanystipulationsoftheCodeofConduct&Liability Form(sentuponpayingyourregistrationfee).
EligibleReimbursements(nottoexceedtheofferedscholarshipamount):
● Airfarecosts.
● Onecheckedbag.
● Publictransportation,Uber,Lyft,ortaxifarestoandfromtheGalt’sGulchconference venueandtheairport.
● Travelinsurance[*Required]
● Visaapplicationfees.
ImportantReimbursementStipulations:
● Youwillberesponsibleforanytravelexpensesabovetheofferedscholarshipamount.
● TheAtlasSocietydoes not reimburseforroomservicecharges,non-conference-included meals,valetfeesforrentalcars,orairlineseatandclassupgrades.
● If TheAtlasSocietywritesyoualetterofinvitationtoobtainaVisa,youmustarriveand departwithinaone-weekwindowoftheconferencestartandenddates.Thismeansyou mustarriveintheUnitedStatesonorafterMay29thanddepartonorbeforeJune12th, orwecannotreimburseyouforliabilityreasons.
● Wecannotreimburseyouuntilyoureturntoyourcountryoforigin.
● Youmustsharethetotalamountofeachreceiptinyourreimbursement converted into USD.
