AWE introduces the latest innovation available from the URC home automation platform.

The URC Total Control Accelerator 3 Expressway is designed to provide integrators with the shortest route from system concept to completion. This means that integrators not only get simple one-way control over AV equipment, but that Accelerator 3 Expressway also provides the ability to have two-way integration with other sub-systems, including the HEOS and Denon Home range, Lutron Lighting, Philips Hue, Roku media streaming players, etc.

Accelerator 3 Expressway features a huge series of control modules readily available, giving integrators the ability to create a custom control system that is designed to bring convenience to the busy everyday life of the end user. Thanks to a host of graphic options, it also allows integrators to tailor the look and feel. Backgrounds, room images and device icons provide the customer with the assurance of a system that is designed and created specifically for their needs.

LEARN TO SIMPLY PROGRAM A CONTROL SYSTEM, THE EXPRESSWAY

To support the introduction of URC’s Total Control Accelerator 3 Expressway, AWE has launched a brand-new one-day training course through its Smart Home Academy to educate attendees on how to specify and install a simple control solution. Available online, the Total Control Expressway – Control Made Simple course is open to all AWE trade customers and is now accepting registrations.

With more homeowners requesting customised control solutions, but not all requiring a highly complicated and more expensive system, this new training course provides integrators with the knowledge required of a simple and reliable new solution from URC that can transform the programming and installation process.

The Total Control Expressway – Control Made Simple course explains the benefits of using URC’s Accelerator 3 Expressway Software, programmable remotes, and extenders. Integrators will leave the session knowing how to programme an entire system and they will also attain hands-on experience with URC’s Total control products and its new software.

As well as covering the new software and a new system processor, all attendees will also get to discover URC’s HDA system (High Definition Audio). The HDA products provides a featurerich multi-room audio solution giving the user 96kHz/24-bit streaming, audio ducking and paging, network audio sharing, parametric EQ etc. The HDA system uses AVB networking to guarantee audio synchronisation across up to 32 zones.

Hosted by AWE trainers, Tilak Rana and Mal Fisher, these sessions will be limited to just four attendees to promote interactivity. AWE wants each trainee to be able to get the most out of the experience, learning the full programming process whilst encouraging class discussion.

All trainees will benefit from receiving a new URC MRX-5 high-performance network controller and a TRC-820 Wi-Fi remote prior to the training session. They also gain unlimited access to URC’s dedicated training portal which hosts a collection of courses, help guides and videos, from lengthy explainers to bite-sized refreshers. Marketing assets & resources are all also included in the £332.50 + VAT training cost.
