For instance, the ultra-competitive CFR2100 Series enclosed racks just roll out of the box, complete with all the hardware: blanking panels, vented shelves etc, while the stackable CFR1600 Series skeleton racks come together in under 15 minutes. Then there’s the exclusive choice of ‘Black Series’ TV mounts, which are so well conceived, the TV is usually up on the wall within 30 minutes without the need for another pair of hands. Available in 44U / 36U / 27U / 15U, these arrive pre-assembled with shelves and blanking panels to simplify installation. Their heavygauge welded steel construction provides years of trouble-free service while the quick-release, removable back and side panels allow complete access to components and wiring for upgrades or fixes. The CFR2100 Series also features added cooling vents top and bottom for improved ventilation, and newly redesigned shelves include protective back stops to ensure that equipment does not slip or slide.

BEFORE YOU START

At the planning stage you’ll have access to SANUS’ online tools at sanus.com (shortly to include Black Series products and be integrated with habitech.co.uk) to make sure you fit the right support at the right height. SANUS works with the key TV manufacturers to update its database with new and legacy models: currently over 35,000 TVs are included. Go to the ‘MountFinder’ tool, type in the TV and pick the ideal mount. Then use the ‘HeightFinder’ tool to place it at the perfect height fuss-free.

30 MINS AND IT’S UP

No surprise that virtually all SANUS mounts will work with any stud spacing. The open wall plate design accommodates power immediately behind the TV, while dual-stud mounting makes secure installation an absolute cinch. And the enhanced hardware package supplied with each mount provides compatibility with all major TV brands. You get more screws and fittings with the product to deliver a trouble-free install, even of mystery brand panels with bizarre VESA sizes and depths. All mounts offer the maximum VESA holes for the required mount sizing, so you’re not left holding the baby, so to speak.

POST INSTALL PERFECTION

Once the display is securely on the wall, proprietary SANUS tech swings into action. ‘FluidMotion’ mechanics give you optimum stability and the smoothest motion to effortlessly extend, tilt and swivel the TV. The moment it’s positioned, ‘Steady Set’ functionality takes over to ensure that it stays exactly where you want it, period. For added install convenience the finest incremental adjustments can be made postinstall using ‘ProSet’ height and level tweaks, which allow up to 25mm of movement. And for ultimate peace of mind, Black Series mounts offer easy post-installation access to cables and connections while their heavy gauge steel construction is ‘UL Certified’ to carry four times the weight capacity stated on the box. So, if your customer hears a bump in the night, rest assured it won’t be the TV, and you won’t be getting a call.

TOUGH TO BEAT FOR CHOICE AS WELL!

Habitech is stocking as many as fourteen mounts to cover all applications. For instance, you might choose the CILF226 Black full motion mount for 37in-80in TVs, or the CILF230, which offers a longer extension of up to 76 cm (30in), additional swivel motion on the mount and higher weight capacity to support panels up to 95in. Or for fixed applications, choose between the CILL1 for holding the largest and heaviest TVs and the CILL2, which offers a super-slim profile depth of only 14mm from the wall. Meanwhile, the CILT1 is a traditional tilting mount whereas the CILT2 offers an advanced tilt of up to 145mm. And for the heaviest lift and tilt, the Sanus Black CIXT1 supports most TVs up to a Sumo-sized 136.08kg (300 lbs).
