Or have you individually prepared your doctoral thesis? Submit your work for evaluation, pass exams and gain doctoral degree extramurally in one year! • Be a part of Doctoral Candidates’ Association at MRU, which improves conditions for researchers, continues academic traditions and creates new ones, represents doctoral students at the University and other institutions.

Doctoral programmes include studies, research and preparation of a doctoral thesis. Applications can be submitted and are considered once per year; the studies start in October (except for LAST-JD programme). Enrollment criteria are specific for each programme, however, there are some criteria common to them all: • Research proposal; • Interview with the Doctoral Committee (defence of the research proposal); • Additional points for scientific publications (not mandatory); • Average of evaluations according to Master’s diploma supplement. Upon completion of a doctoral programme and public defence of the thesis, the doctor’s degree is awarded.
