SLIM JIM: Need a little excitement? Adopt a Slim Jim! This four-year-old spicy boy was first spotted in the west side river bottoms - starving, injured, and terrified of people. Somehow surviving alone like that for months, a good citizen was finally able to rescue him! But only with the help of those beefy, spicy sticks…Slim Jim, his namesake. You can now find Slim Jim, and lots of other great dogs like him, at vhslifesaver.org! $150 adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and ohhh yeah, a best friend for life!

MIDGE: Meet Midge! She’s eight years old, but a kitten at heart. Everyone's favorite thing about Midge is her charming underbite! Her spunky personality is a close second. She enjoys other cats, dogs, and people. LIVES for chasing toys and taking naps in comfy places. Midge is FIV+ and that’s okay! Most cats with this condition can, and do, live long, happy and healthy lives alongside other felines. Please inquire with our knowledgeable Adoption Counselors to learn more! WESKER: Palominos are known for being social, friendly and energetic. Wesker here, a two-year-old Palomino male, is an inquisitive bun who came into the care of VHS a little underweight and very much in need of a nail trim. Being the social boy he is, Wesker enjoys exploring, chewing on cardboard boxes, and taking a look (and sniff) at new things - he may even try digging on you!
