Staging is the art of preparing a property for sale… I T H E L P S T O R E-W R I T E T H E S T O RY O F Y O U R H O M E W I T H A N O T H E R H A P P Y E N D I N G!
Selling a home you are living in isn’t always easy, and staging of even one room can be a headache for anyone. My approach is designed to fine tune your home, highlighting it’s best features. Using a fresh new perspective I review the features in your home, making suggestions and modifications in areas that need attention – working together to achieve the perfect effect. My approach is designed to be simple, but the results have been profitable for many of my clients already. The process enhances the strong points and redirects attention where we want it. I focus on the best ways to draw the buyer into the home, fall in love with it, and make an offer! As you will see in the following pages, my method is a combination of editing, accessorizing, and adding furniture that compliments what you have. These subtle changes have a powerful impact. Sometimes it’s installing art work, fluffy white towels in baskets, or adding greenery to a corner. Every additional detail adds to a new story for that happy ending!
Thank you for taking the time to review my staging book. Would love to hear from you.

I DO
“When you’re looking to move in or around Chicago, call me – I love helping people find places to call ‘home’ in my city of Chicago.”
Telling the story of a property and showing it’s heart to a new set of buyers is so rewarding. There is a narrative behind every sale…finding and highlighting these elements thru staging is so fulfilling. To be able to create a new “look” or build on the foundation that is already there is such a unique way to help my sellers move on to their next chapter. I’m always grateful to share in that experience.
The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive. - Albert Einstein

“On two separate occasions I had Barb Head handle the staging of my home. This was critical to me because I wanted to get as much value out of the property yet I had little design aesthetic. Barb was amazing in how she was able to transform the look of rooms to make them look fresher, brighter and overall more appealing to a broad audience. I should also note that she was able to accomplish all of this on a shoestring budget and by getting creative and repurposing items I already had in my home. While she clearly has a talent for staging what made her even more valuable is that she knew I didn’t have the time to deal with any of it and handled all aspects completely.” -M “Barb was extraordinary! I’m greatful to have had a real estate agent who handles so many facets of my house sale. I had to be out of town the majority of the time during the preparation, listing and sale of my home. Barb met contractors, helped ensure proper repairs were made, helped clean and stage my condo, and delt with the condo association. I got a fair proce and was more than satisfied the whole way through. If you need a great Chicago real estate agent, Barb is the one you want!” - M.S “Barb Head knows what buyers want. She worked with us to create a fresh and stylish look for our place while keeping it livable. We almost didn’t want to move once we saw our polished-up space! She’s got an eye for home décor given all her experience as a REALTOR®. Our place got a ton of traffic and we are very happy with the sale. Barb is our REALTOR® for life and we always recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell.” -J
“We engaged Barbara Head to act as our real estate agent in the sale of our Chicago home. Ms. Head came very well prepared in terms of the competition and the options for preparing the home for sale. She took on many responsibilities without any prompting on our part. She personally engaged interior designers, architects and other experts to ensure we had knowledge of all options in preparing for the sale of our home. She also had access to numerous contractors who proved to be highly productive, were very reasonable in cost and did excellent work very quickly. Without these resources and Mrs. Head’s expertise we would have been unable to achieve such good sales results. We highly reccommend Ms. Head to be your real estate agent.” - M.R
