Prairie Court is a joint venture of two of Chicago’s most experienced residential developers: Sandz Development and Golub.
Co-founded by Richard Zisook, Sandz was a pioneering developer of downtown Chicago neighborhoods throughout the 1970s and ‘80s. The firm has built and developed a number of luxury townhome communities including Kensington Park in the South Loop, Dickens Court in Lincoln Park, Beekman Place in the Gold Coast, and Eugenie Terrace in Old Town. Over the past two decades, Sandz also successfully completed a number of luxury high-rise developments, including 600 North Lake Shore Drive and 530 North Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville, and The Whitney in the Gold Coast. In addition to Prairie Court, Sandz is currently developing the mixed-use Webster Square community in Lincoln Park.
Golub is a multi-generational family-owned real estate firm founded in Chicago in 1960. The firm has developed, managed and/or owned more than 45 million square feet of commercial space and 45,000 multi-family units in the U.S. and abroad, with a total value exceeding $8 billion. Golub has been involved in a number of notable office properties in Chicago, including the John Hancock Center, 22 W. Washington (CBS and Morningstar headquarters) and 625 N. Michigan Avenue. Recent residential developments include The Bristol luxury condominiums in the Gold Coast, and the Streeter and Streeter Place apartment buildings in Streeterville.
