Getting Around

Cycling

All our halls of residence and the campus have access to bicycle storage – we'd recommend using a D-lock to secure your bicycle. Free bike-marking events available throughout the year via Dorset Police.

Buses

UNIBUS and MoreBus provide services across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. You can pick up a timetable from Student Services, or information on bus times can also be found online at: UNIBUS MoreBus

Trains

Bournemouth Train Station is within walking distance of our city-centre halls, and a short bus journey away for those staying on Campus. You can also apply for a Student Rail Card which can give you a discount on tickets here: www.16-25railcard.co.uk/

Health & Wellbeing

The Village Surgery, near Campus Halls

AUB’s Student Services work in partnership with the local Village Surgery. For appointments at AUB, or at the Village Surgery, please contact the Village Surgery directly on 01202 525252. You'll need to register with the surgery at least 24 hours before your appointment – registration links are available by emailing studentservices@aub.ac.uk

If you're an International or EU student, we recommend you read UKCISA’s advice on how the UK medical system works and how to make sure you are covered during your studies.

Wellbeing Online & In-Person Drop In

Book 1:1 Online Wellbeing Appointments with the lovely AUB Wellbeing Team via the myAUB app > Bookings.

Attend the in-person Wellbeing Drop In, no appointment required. Open 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday in Student Services

The University Retreat, Tolpuddle Annex 2 (BU Campus)

Wellbeing Drop In service on the Bournemouth University Campus. Open 2pm-9pm, Monday to Saturday. No appointment required, and a calming space to relax!
