“Unrestricted giving is essential to the college’s ability to provide quality engineering education, conduct innovative research, and produce graduates that set the standard for excellence.” Christopher B. Roberts Dean

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is privileged to have a group of people who share its vision for exceptional engineering instruction, hands-on experience, and an environment conducive to the discovery of new technology and innovation. These donors make up the Engineering Keystone Society — a cadre of alumni and friends who recognize that private support is critical to the college’s ongoing success and are willing to rise to the challenge of moving the college boldly into the future. Keystone members make the highest commitment to annual giving — $50,000 or more to the college’s unrestricted fund over five years. The flexibility of unrestricted funds enables Auburn Engineering to pursue on-the-horizon opportunities and react quickly to new challenges in higher education. These valuable resources enable the college to sustain creative programs and departments in which students and faculty thrive.

Funding Emerging Opportunities The contributions of Keystone members allow the college to maintain its tradition of excellence while pursuing even higher goals. Unrestricted funds support:

Study abroad programs that strengthen and enhance students’ educational experiences

Scholarship funding for deserving students in urgent need of financial assistance Student competition design teams that provide students with real-world experience

Hands-on learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom Computer/media centers and resources necessary to keep pace with evolving technology

Classroom equipment that meets the demands of an ever-changing learning environment

Start-up funding for faculty research initiatives Nationally renowned, distinguished lecture series that allow both students and

faculty to stay abreast of the latest professional news, trends and accomplishments
