Auburn Young Professionals is designed to engage young professionals and prepare them for community leadership. Throughout the year, members will have the opportunity to connect with other young professionals and community leaders, commit to personal growth, prepare for career advancement and civic engagement, and serve the community.
CONNECT
EVENTS & PROGRAMS Each year begins with a kickoff event for all area young professionals. After the initial kickoff event in January, over 20 programs and events are offered throughout the year with an AYP annual membership.
SERVE We believe service is an integral part of developing future leaders. AYP offers both organized service events and independent opportunities to serve in the community or with area nonprofit organizations. A Find Your Place event is also held each year to introduce members to other professionals who have made service a priority.
DEVELOP Both Coffee & Conversation and Lunch & Learn programs are designed to offer AYP members personal development, professional development or both! Coffee & Conversation is a morning event that gives young professionals the opportunity to learn from a community leader in a more casual format. Questions are encouraged! Lunch & Learns are held on a wide variety of topics.
CONNECT A number of after-hours social events are held throughout the year to encourage AYP members to connect with one another and develop a stronger community. These events are also often an introduction to a new restaurant or event space.
