WELCOME TO THE THEATRE! We’re so pleased to finally welcome COME FROM AWAY to the Kentucky Center. It was scheduled for the previous season, and well, you know how that went. COME FROM AWAY is an amazing true story about the kindness of strangers. It’s a story of stepping up when it’s not expected, but rather because it’s the right thing to do. Next month the show will celebrate its 5th Anniversary on Broadway. We’re so pleased that you’re here and you will quickly find out why it’s such a hit. “Welcome to the Rock.” Mean Girls is up next. This hilarious new musical, based on the film, comes from an award-winning creative team. Tina Fey, creator of the film, wrote the book for the musical. Her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, wrote the score with lyricist Nell Benjamin. And Mean Girls is directed by the Tony Award-winning Casey Nicholaw. In addition to the show’s creative pedigree, it’s a lot of fun and will have you laughing and dancing in your seat! We can’t wait to see you here again next month. We’re hard at work putting together the 2022/23 season that will launch in the Fall. We’ll have details on the big announcement in the coming weeks. Be sure to follow us on our social media channels for all the details (see below). Thanks again for being here and for supporting PNC Broadway in Louisville. Enjoy the show!
