WELCOME TO THE SHOW! We’re so glad you’re joining us for this exciting return of Hamilton. Seeing our downtown bustling fills our hearts and our local businesses! And believe it or not, we still have one more terrific show to come this current season. The dazzling new musical Anastasia closes out the season in August and transports us across the world as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. The show’s creative team is a who’s who of Tony Award winners, with the book by Terrence McNally (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Ragtime) and the score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island, Seussical). It will be a great close to our “come-back” season and we can’t thank you enough for taking this journey with us! We just announced our 2022/23 season and it’s an amazing line-up. We’re excited to welcome four Louisville premieres which include Hadestown, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, Pretty Woman and Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations. These premieres are joined by two revivals from the musical theatre canon, Fiddler on the Roof and Annie. Season tickets are still available and we hope you’ll join us for another season of unforgettable song, dance, and story-telling. Thanks again to the Fund for the Arts and all of our subscribers who continue to support our Education Program. Through the Louisville Theatrical Association, we were able to invite an entire session of The Governor’s School for the Arts to attend a performance of Hamilton. In addition, students from Lexington to Hardin County to Bell County to Jefferson County were provided with tickets and learning experiences throughout the season. Together we’re changing lives! On behalf of our amazing partner PNC Bank, enjoy the show. We look forward to seeing you back in the theatre this August!
