THE HARBINGER - A PROPHETIC WEEK IN REVIEW September 21st – 25th 2011 An Enforced Middle East Peace?
By Luke Numerous committees, think-tanks, diplomats and governmental organizations have put forth their solutions in resolving the Middle East conflict. It would now appear one individual holds that power and authority - the President of the U.S. By withholding the veto power in the security council, demanding Israel abide by the will of the international community, and enforcing a UN resolution to a fair and equitable middle east peace, for all peoples in the region, Obama would rise to overnight stardom in the eyes of the majority of the world's nations. In the eyes of those who opposed him however, such as evangelical Christian America and much of Israel, he would be perceived as the Antichrist. But this man does not fit the bill for the Antichrist. He could however be the mastermind who puts forth a final status middle East peace agreement, with enough authority and power, to force Israel to accept it. And in so doing he would earn the title of being called "the prince of the covenant". We shall see. If nothing else it would seem the US will play a leading military role as protector, guaranteeing Israel's security when such a covenant is implemented. But could Obama possibly be the "Prince of the Covenant"? It's just a theory. At this point only the Lord knows. And to seriously even consider the possibility requires a totally new paradigm and way of seeing things. If Endtime events are closer than we realize, it's a possibility we may want to consider. "A possible new angle on our interpretation of Endtime events is that the Antichrist maynot be the Prince of the Covenant after all.--But a prince before him that he will later overthrow. (Daniel 11:22)" (IN A MOMENT! David, ML# 2599:1) After president Abbas made his speech before the General Assembly, the Quartet of Middle East negotiators issued a statement at the UN (IsraeliPalestinian talks must resume - Mideast Quartet, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-15044601) urging Israel and the Palestinians to resume peace talks within one month and to reach an agreement within a timeframe agreed to by the parties but not longer than the end of 2012." And that an international conference to finetune all outstanding issues would be held in Moscow at an appropriate time.
World events over the past three years since the economic crash, and particularly those surrounding the Middle East conflict, just since Obama took office, are anything but business as usual. Somethingappears to be driving the nations of the world and directing the course of events supernaturally - from behind the scenes. And it hardly appears coincidental that the repeated deadline echoed by many in the international community is - before the end of 2012.

Enforcing the Peace http://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/67045/howard-msachar/enforcing-the-peace (Published by the Council on Foreign Relations) "The Israelis and the Palestinians will never find peace if they are left to negotiate on their own. As has been the case throughout history, great-power leadership is the missing ingredient. Washington must lead the way in enforcing a final-status settlement." "The UN showdown--coupled with the changes sweeping the Middle East--could spur the paradigm shift that is needed for peace".
A Forced Peace Agreement http://www.assemblyweu.org/en/documents/sessions_ordinaires/rpt/2009/2060.pdf Peace in this region and in this part of the Middle East will depend on a decision from outside it. It will, in other words, be a solution imposed by the international community and guaranteed by the United Nations. A precondition for peace is the recognition of a sovereign and viable Palestinian state. The situation is tragic, but the logic is simple: it is in Europe's interests, in concert with the United States, to take rapid and resolute action to arrive, after 60 years, at a peaceful settlement.
A resolution would be introduced at the UN declaring a Palestinian state. This resolution will get the approval of the international community and pass the UN security council. It will then be enforced on the ground by the EU. This resolution will be a two state solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of the new state of Palestine. Judea, the West Bank and the Temple Mount will all be part of this new state. Israel of course will not agree to this and will fight it setting up the prophetic scenario we see in scripture.
NATO planning 'integral' role in enforcing Mideast peace deal http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/nato-planning-integral-rolein-enforcing-mideast-peace-deal-1.325778 Nov 21, 2010 LISBON - NATO will play an integral role in enforcing a Middle East peace deal, but will not play a direct role in reaching that agreement, the alliance's secretary general told Haaretz this weekend. "If a Middle East peace agreement is reached, an international military force will be needed to monitor and implement it," Anders Fogh Rasmussen said. At a press briefing in the Portuguese capital, the secretary general said that unlike its member states, NATO as an organization is not involved in the peace process, but expressed support for the efforts of the United States and the other members of the so-called Quartet of Mideast peace negotiators to reach a resolution to the IsraeliPalestinian conflict.
