SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW for full mobility services The SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW solution architecture splits the data- and control-path processing into different systems. The control-path processing is performed by the WSG Controller (WSG-C), which is based on the standards-based micro TCA and ATCA high-performance computing platforms. The data-path processing is performed by the WSG Router (WSG-R). SI3000 ASN-GW Benefits: SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW is a multipurpose system. It fills the need for an edge, aggregation or services router. The integration of these functions into the network management/services/ operation increases the pervasiveness of the offered solution. SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW is simple and cost effective. The session-based nature of the WSG-C enables off-the-shelf computers to be used, making the cost effectiveness a reality and easing the operator’s network-development process. SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW is independently scalable. The data path scales as the routers are added. The investment starts low for a small-scale system. As the number of routers increases the data path grows as well. No additional investment other than the already needed routers for the core network is required.

ASN-GW Key Features: • WiMAX Forum NWG profile C compliant • NWG-compliant subscriber authentication • EAP and AAA authentication (RADIUS) • Classification, policing, shaping per WiMAX Forum profiles (UGS, RT-VR, ERT-VR, NRT-VR, BE) • Mobile IP control • Security and encryption control • Data aggregation and routing • Accounting control enables prepaid billing • Handover management enables true mobility • Paging/Idle/Sleep Mode Control/Management • Various IP protocols supported SI3000 WiMAX ASN-GW is reliable. WSG-C is not in the data path. It is easier to design a system that will be reliable and/ or redundant due to the fact that WSG-C is a session-based product. WSG-R is a field-proven router with all the reliability and redundancy carrier-grade features already built in. SI3000 WiMAX Subscriber Manager Key Features: • Cost-effective infrastructure based on commercial routers • Stationary/Nomadic services enabled

SUBSCRIBER MANAGEMENT • Web Self Care • Subscriber Management • Dynamic Account Enigme • Session Management

SERVICE MANAGEMENT: The supported functionalities are, for example, dynamic policy manager, versatile prepaid manager with hot-lining support and service monitoring and auditing. WiMAX solutions provide a range of business benefits that enhance carrier revenues.

compatible with ASN interfaces, network migration into a fully standardized mobile solution with the SI3000 ASNGW and AAA is never a question.

Mobile WiMAX solutions provide benefits with maximum satisfaction as a result of their advantages:

Seamless migration from 16d to 16e with Iskratel d + e Dual-Mode Base Stations

Cost savings in an infrastructure based on modular network growth

SI3000 Mobile WiMAX Base Stations provide the most costeffective way to upgrade to IEEE 802.16e, since fixed and mobile WiMAX can be used at the same time. Operators who are not willing to take the full risk of upgrading immediately to a new technology can test the mobility today, based on the proven technology and migrate to mobile WiMAX at a time of their choice.

The fully modular mobile WiMAX system from Iskratel enables low CAPEX for the operator’s WiMAX network. As the base station itself is a complete Iskratel WiMAX solution, both follow the basic “Pay as you grow” principle.

SI3000 Mobile WiMAX is part of the SI3000 MSAP family – multiservice platform for different access technologies.
