Where we’re going

12

OUR VISION Preserving important data is the idea behind the original Maxtor. In the past, we provided digital storage where people could keep their information in a safe place. Toady, we believe that it is not only information or data that we would like to keep, but also memories. We will develop an innovative memory storage system in order to maintain better relations between people. The rebranding will focus on preserving memories and connecting with other people by introducing new lines of products, services, workshops, and education programs. The new Maxtor will provide new userfriendly technology that’s easy to use for every age.

The new Maxtor identity is the most fundamental part of our brand, and it ensures uniformity across all corporate communications, including internal and external communications. From product packaging, services, workshops, education programs, ads and website, it functions as a personal idea of the ourcompany. The signature consists of two elements, symbol and wordmark, that work together as a whole. The combination of the elephant and letter “M is the defining feature of our design system, and the starting point for many graphic elements. The elephant in the signature represents long memory, family, and strenght, which follows our brand idea of collecting, preserving, and sharing precious memories from the personal to the financial. Using lower case typography and rounded geometric typography for the signature sends a message to our customers that our company if friendly and customer focused. The alignment and proportions of this signature should not be change in any way.
