Message from Governor Pat Duda: Wow, what a convention we had! Festivities, fellowship and recognitions. It was a fun-filled convention under the leadership of PCC Steve Anton and his dedicated team of volunteers. My congratulations to you all for your challenging work in making this convention a memorable one to all our attendees. Our International Guest ID Nicolin Carol Moore and her husband Rudy Moore had no words to appreciate our way of having District Convention. I thank all the Lions, Leos and guests who attended this memorable convention.

My request to all the clubs to show plus in membership. We lost many lions in our District this year due death and we are still losing. We should fill their spots by inviting new members. I am requesting all lions clubs in District 1A to send their representatives to attend State Convention in the Month of May. You will find details and registration form in this newsletter. Then we cannot forget this year’s International Convention in Las Vegas! Take few days extra as your vacation time so that you can not only enjoy International Convention, also you can have fun in casinos. 1. See you soon at the conventions, -Pat Duda, District 1A Governor Pduda0614@yahoo.com

And now as the Spring is here, it is time to grow and see growth in our Lions Clubs. Retaining should be our clubs’ number one goal to show our membership growth in District 1A. A also request Lions Clubs to complete their Governor’s Visit schedule. I have only three more months left to complete my goal. Even though we have officials for next lionistic year already selected during our District Convention, they will be playing their role as district officers only after our International Convention in the first week of July.
