It managed the acquisition of European films for different distributors such as Michael Haneke’s Amour, and Abbas Kiarostami’s Certified Copy. It devised and produced guerilla marketing campaigns for films like Wim Wender’s Pina 3D for Zeta Films. In 2011 it established a distribution venture in Argentina, with the releases of Amat Escalante’s Los bastardos, and Julio Hernández Cordón’s Las marimbas del infierno. Its next release will be Aleksandr Sokurov’s Fausto, winner of Venice 2011 Golden Lion.

They have produced Santiago Mitre’s first feature film El estudiante along with La Unión de los Ríos. In 2009 they started to work with Maximiliano Schonfeld, from Crespo, Entre Ríos, where all of his projects take place. In 2012 they produced his first feature film Germania. Currently they are developing Schonfeld’s second film The Black Frost. In addition, they have started working on The Fire by Juan Schnitman.

With more than three years of experience, VIDEOFLIMS is, maybe, the most independent distribution company in Argentina. With a catalogue composed by more than a hundred titles, it worries about spreading and recovering films that nobody else dares to edit. Focused in horror, science fiction, and fantasy films in general, they edit DVDs, release films in commercial cinemas, and give a solid platform to spread nationally and internationally the films and directors they represent. They also produce their own contents. They have produced already three feature films and at the moment they are developing their fourth one.

Fassbinder, Todd Solondz and many others that are part of what is recognized as the largest DVD collection of authorial films in Brazil. As a Production Company, LUME made several short films and video, including Questão de Prova, Cartas and Ódio.

Established in the year 2010 by Diana Bustamante y Jorge Forero, the company focuses on cinematographic expressions constantly bordering its limits, aimed mostly at formal developments as to the audiovisual language. Highly independent and rigorous, BURNING BLUE has positioned its films in the most important world film festivals, being now consolidated as a production model that is viable and effective in national and international scenarios.

Almost US$8 millions available every year, for twelve categories of audiovisual projects, including theatrical Telefilms (full-length feature or documentary films), Series and International Co-productions. The Chilean states National Television Council is the regulator of the television exercise in Chile, and since 1993 it’s Funding and Development Department manages the CNTV-Fund, resulting in more than 250 productions, over 60.000 minutes on screen, achieving several national and international prizes and distribution (like International EMMY, Prix Jeunesse, Altazor, etc.). She currently works as a producer for projects coherent with her style. She teaches in different universities in Santiago and coauthored the book Teorías del cine documental chileno 1957-1973. She had directed the short-film The hairdressers, and the documentary feature film El salvavidas, winner of IDFA Oficial Competition, among others. Actually she is editing her second feature film La once.

Studied Journalism at Universidad Católica de Chile and entered the film industry after several years working as a reporter. A selftaught multi-tasker, he writes, directs, edits, produces and acts. As a writer/director, he has developed a particular style that draws inspiration from biology and psychology in order to tell stories that probe specific aspects of the human psyche. He also plays the lead role in the film Te creís la más talentosa by Che Sandoval. His first feature film El circuito de Román became a critics’ darling, and had his premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, and take the Special Jury Prize in FICValdivia.
