Lotus announces price reductions for 2010
Lotus Cars Australia has announced that it has adjusted the recommended retail price of many of its current new car collection, with savings of up to $18,500 in the model range. The Lotus range starts with the Elise, a face-lifted and renamed model, previously known as the Elise S. The MY2011 Elise will
retain the sharp Lotus range entry level price of $69,990, but will be updated with the new-for-2010 production body styling and a variety of other modifications. These MY2011 body styling changes will also be evident on the Elise R and Elise SC, which both see a $10,000 base vehicle price reduction.

Bentley Motors is showcasing the new 2011 Continental Supersports Convertible during the New York Motor Show beginning this week. The newest addition to the Continental model range features a 621-horsepower, twin-turbocharged W12 engine that is capable of running on both gasoline and E85 bioethanol, making it both powerful and Environmentally conscious. The new, muscular four-seat Supersports Convertible will be priced from $280,400 when it arrives at Bentley retailers this summer. “The new Supersports Convertible is the most powerful drop-top we’ve ever produced,” said Christopher Georges, President & Chief Operating Officer for Bentley Motors, Inc.

Hyundai Reveals i45 in Hybrid and Turbo Versions
At the New York Auto Show in North America, Hyundai Motor Company has announced that its all-new i45 sedan - known as Sonata in North America - will be the first vehicle in that market to offer customers a choice of petrol direct injection (GDI), full-hybrid and twin-scroll turbocharged powertrains.
The i-MiEV’s electric motor is smaller, produces more torque at low revolutions and is quieter than a turbocharged gasoline engine. Most importantly, the i-MiEV’s engine is cleaner, producing zero drive-time CO2 emissions.
