THE SOUTHERN OREGON CPR INITIATIVE Founded in 2011, this volunteer community group of local firefighters, EMS providers, nurses, and physicians teaches the life saving skill of hands-only CPR. Effective bystander CPR, when provided immediately, can double or triple the chance of survival. The goal of this initiative is to teach all 7th graders in Jackson County Hands-Only CPR using the American Heart Association’s CPR Anytime® program. Donations from this event are applied
