THE GUILD PVD BEER GARDEN

Join us just off the new pedestrian bridge in the PVD Innovation District Park along Dyer St. and the Providence River. We've got plenty of seating with 20 long-style tables and 20 high tops. We'll have seven drafts/styles of Guild Brewing Co. beer and some "guest" beers. We'll also offer a few varieties of Hard Seltzer cans. There will always be at least one food truck every day we are open and multiple on the weekends. Weekly schedules will be posted on social media.

BRISTOL 4TH OF JULY PARADE

The Traditional Fourth of July

Parade will change this year to a vehicle procession with lite entertainment. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will step-off at the corner of Chestnut Street and Hope Street (Rt. 114) and ends on High Street, between State Street and Bradford Street. The vehicle procession will last approximately 45 minutes, and we ask the community to observe all RI Health Department guidance regarding Social Distancing and the Wearing of Masks. 3. Newport 4th of July Fireworks Display

Weather permitting, this year’s display is scheduled to light up the harbor beginning at approximately 9:15 PM on Monday, July 4th, with a rain date slated for Tuesday, July 5th. Newport's annual Fourth of July Fireworks display traces its history to a small but dedicated group of community members who volunteered their time to help celebrate our nation's founding with a safe, family friendly atmosphere. Where to View: For best viewing, be sure to find a westward facing spot along Newport Habor. Popular viewing locations include Perrotti Park, King Park, and Queen Anne Square.

6. 4th of July Lobster Boil

Join us for our annual, iconic Lobster Boil on the Fourth of July followed by the best view of the fireworks! This year we’re hosting at Top of Newport! Our fabulous rooftop bar is the perfect perch to observe the fireworks over Narragansett Bay at the conclusion of the evening. Lobster dinner will include a welcome glass of red, white or rose, and a traditional New England lobster bake buffet with clams, corn on the cob, pie and all the fixins’! We Had Lunch On a Porch at this Enchanting Eatery in Warwick, Rhode Isalnd

Gotta say, we’ve eaten at the Tree House Tavern during the winter months and enjoyed it immensely, but I absolutely adore their outdoor space in the summer.

Yesterday, we sat for a late lunch out on the vine covered side porch, and it was just soooo nice. (Take note all my friends out there who, like me, wish they had a porch to hang out on this time of year.)

If you haven’t experienced out-of-doors there in a while, you should know that they have really expanded and taken it to a whole other level. (We were pleasantly

In addition to their Woodshed space that you’re probably already a fan of, they went and added an additional open air seating area with a roof. (See photos below.) There are lotsa lanterns everywhere. And more flowers and greenery than ever before.

It’s very Rhode Island rustic meets whimsical; I honestly cannot think of anywhere else quite like it in Lil Rhody. Also, our wait person was such a delight! She kept checking in with us, making sure we were doing well without hovering. (It’s a delicate balance, ya know? I say this as someone who worked in the service industry for 18+ years.)

We actually ended up getting a bunch of small plates — their Caesar salad, the deviled eggs, and the hummus platter, all of which I cannot say enough greattt things about. As a matter of fact, that hummus platter was one of the best as far as portion size, tastiness, and variety (in terms of what is included) that I’ve had in recent memory.

My only call-out would be that since the hubs and I don’t eat meat, we’d LOVE to see a few more meatless options on the menu. Maybe a Beyond Burger or something along those lines. We didn’t order any cocktails or beer, but I have had drinks there with friends in the past and would again in a heartbeat. (Regulars rave about their espresso martinis, beer selection, and mocktails.)
