Hey Division 1N Key Clubbers! Fall is finally here which means late night football games, pumpkin-flavored everything, and trips to the state fair. I hope y’all are all having a great school year and immersing yourselves in service. Many of your club’s officers were not able to make it to STC or did not know about it so I am planning a Fall Training Conference that will be within the next few weeks. The current date is November 14 but that is tentative. It will be a great opportunity for the clubs within our division to interact while also learning how to fulfill responsibilities required of each position. Remember that all officers are required to attend.

convention the best one yet so I hope you get the opportunity to attend! It’s hard to believe that the Key Club year is already halfway over. Just keep doing what you’re doing and if you ever have any questions or need help, I’m here at all times. Yours in service,

At Fall Rally, the 2016 DCON theme was released (check out page six for the specific theme). It’ll be here sooner than you think so start fundraising and planning on sending at least a few members. All of the District Staff and Lieutenant Governors are working their hardest to make this

Spotlight of the Month

Key Clubbers from Birdville HS participated in many different service projects this month! One event that they volunteered at was the Butterfly Festival hosted by their Kiwanis club. During the three day event, they helped out at the registration table and assisted people inside the butterfly tent. Additionally, the club volunteered at the Doggy Beach Bash. Members handed out bandanas, sold t-shirts, and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. This club is doing great and finding fun ways to give back to the community. Keep up the great work Birdville!

Divisional Project & PCM Recap On September 19th, our first Divisional Project was held! Key Clubbers met up at an apartment complex for two hours of fun with refugee children. We all played outdoor games, such as freeze tag and duck duck goose. However, the rain dampened our festivities for a bit. We moved to an inside playhouse and played musical chairs and other games until the rain let up. Afterward, we held a short PCM in which we discussed upcoming events and club duties. The Divisional Project was so much fun and if you didn’t attend this month’s then I hope you’ll be able to attend the next one!
