Bridging the gap
Thanks to a broader MRO service, Moog has become a total solutions provider
Moog’s Aircraft sector has been designing, manufacturing and integrating precision motion control products and systems for commercial aircraft for more than 70 years. In that time, Moog has established a reputation for delivering innovative solutions for the most challenging motion control applications, including flight, engine and auxiliary controls. As a result, Moog has become a key supplier to the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, including
Boeing, Airbus and Lockheed Martin.
Its hardware is positioned on virtually every platform in the marketplace.
While partnerships with airframers have long been its history, Moog’s focus is very much on the airline customers who require enhanced operational support from its program suppliers and OEMs. The airlines today are facing challenges with manpower shortages and supply chain issues impeding their ability to make essential aircraft operational decisions efficiently and effectively. Airline companies, particularly larger operators, find it challenging to navigate all the product complexities on their aircraft, limiting their ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot and proactively manage after-market demands.
To support airline companies, Moog has transitioned to a total solutions provider role for its airline customers with a broader MRO service. Through this service, Moog can help bridge the gap by acting as a critical link between its airline customer and the suppliers/OEMs, and adding additional services to its ‘Moog Total Support’ program (MTS).

The demand for this type of service has grown and Moog is uniquely positioned to understand and support its customers’ needs.
