AWHS MISSION STATEMENT
Archbishop Williams High
School is an independent, Catholic, college preparatory, grades 7-12 school. We endeavor to educate young men and women spiritually, intellectually, ethically and physically. Driven by the love of Christ, in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, we integrate learning with faith. We strive to graduate socially aware, morally responsible citizens prepared to succeed and to serve their local and global communities.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
• Four credits in Theology (one per academic year)
• Four credits in English (one per academic year)
• Four credits in Mathematics (one per academic year)
• Three credits in Social Studies (U.S. History I & II required)
• Three credits in the same Foreign Language*
• Three credits in a Laboratory Science (including Biology and Chemistry)
• One credit in Arts
• Three additional elective credits
Note: Starting with the Class of 2028, students will be required to take three credits in Foreign Language. Students must take a minimum of six full credit-bearing courses per academic year. A minimum of 24 credits are required to graduate.

SERVICE & OUTREACH
• Students in Grades 7 & 8 participate in community-based service projects

• Seniors complete 20 hours of outreach service at one organization or a hands-on service project for a non-profit organization

• College Essay Boot Camp offered to rising Seniors
• On campus SAT Prep course is offered to Juniors and Seniors and is led by a certified instructor. Last Spring scores of the students who participated in the SAT Prep course had a 9% increase in their SAT scores compared to their fall PSAT scores.
