HUA HIN THAILAND On Wednesday 6th April a ceremony was held in front of a variety of local and provincial dignitaries, along with interested members of the public and local businessmen, to officially open the new Bangkok Hospital on Petchkasem Road. The hospital was partially opened last year, but now the full range of services and departments promised are available. These include Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiology and Orthopedics. The hospital is equipped with an MRI scanner as well as all normal hospital equipment, and there is a helipad on the roof to enable the hospital’s helicopter to quickly transfer urgent cases to other specialist facilities. The fleet of ambulances are mobile ICUs with fully trained doctors and medical technicians so that treatment can begin as quickly as possible.
